i’d like to add also that warning her likely would have just delayed the murder plot rather than prevent it entirely, because dahlia and morgan probably would have tried to exact revenge in other ways or find new opportunities to kill maya but like? still, if godot wanted to protect her, he could have worked with her instead of finding his own ways of indirectly solving the problem without contacting anyone. literally just….if he had taken the time to introduce himself to maya, tell her about what’s going on, maybe offer to protect her if she ever end up in a bad situation??? be her bodyguard or some shit but don’t do this undercover vigilante thing you’re doing here

It's because he wanted to get revenge on Dahlia. If he really wanted to help Maya he would have told her, but it wouldn't satisfy him. He wanted to thwart her plan by "killing" Dahlia. That's all he wanted.
