Identical Chins

Extremely rare 1996 Super Mario 64 Metal Mario coin spinner toy. A coin is inserted into the top of Metal Mario’s head, then his arm is pulled like a lever. This results in the coin shooting out from the front of the toy at a high speed.

Uniform worn by the staff (not the players) of Kyoto Sanga Football Club in 2012, depicting the Japanese-language Nintendo logo and Paper Mario. Nintendo is one of the club’s main sponsors and requested this design to promote Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

In Super Mario 64, Mario has a special death animation for being squashed, such as by a Thwomp. However, if Mario happens to enter his regular death animation, used e.g. when being hit by a Goomba, underneath a Thwomp, then the Thwomp will end up repeatedly resetting the animation before it can complete, trapping Mario in a looping death animation. As the pause menu cannot be opened during this, the game must be reset to escape.
