Problematic because: "She and her sister lied to everyone about Coronabeth (sister) being a necromancer because Ianthe actually is one and they didn't want to be separated. They're extremely codependent and it has major incest implications. Ianthe also killed and ate their cavalier, Naberius, to become super powerful. Then she lived on a spaceship with God and her fellow Lyctors (people who also killed and ate their cavaliers) and while she was supposed to be helping another new Lyctor, Harrowhark, she (possibly?) gaslit her about the corpse of a Lyctor which went missing that Harrow thought she saw under her bed. Harrow has psychosis and often has visual hallucinations and it only made her even more confused. After God blew up one of the Lyctors, she stuck with him and saved another one of the asshole Lyctors. And last but not least, became a prince and helped God enforce his empire by terrorizing people including freedom fighting groups."
Propaganda: 1. "A+ disability representation. Lost an arm but gained immortality and power. A weirdo (affectionate)"
2. "Ianthe is just such a fascinating foil to Harrow and Jod forbid a woman have her goals."
3. "Ianthe is the worst woman ever and also wildly entertaining. I hate her guts and everything she does but she does it with such flair it circles back around to loving her."
Problematic because: "There’s so much to unpack here, but I think I’ll just try and summarize the crimes on his villain wiki page. He killed the entire population of his home dimension including his parents, has destroyed entire planets, commits mass murder, torture, kidnapping, arson, indoctrination, unlawful imprisonment, etc. He’s had/has many cults, at least one of which he ended by having all the members commit mass suicide. He regularly forcibly possesses others whenever he’s able. He’s involved in organized crime, racketeering, terrorism, conspiracy, brainwashing, animal cruelty, theft, identity theft, stalking– he regularly mass surveils everyone everywhere. He’s at least attempted if not succeeded at killing gods. He’s psychologically abusive, coercive, supports labor law violation, mutilates others, drives under the influence… the crimes we see listed after he’s imprisoned are “memory laundering, breaking and entering the fabric of space-time, chrono-infanti-regicide, multilevel marketing, psychic torture, ‘the 2nd dimension incident’, Weirdmageddon”. He sucks so bad I love him"
Propaganda: 1. "The start of him being the worst is him having the ability to see the 3rd dimension in a 2D world. The people around him thought he was crazy, so he was subjected to some degree of medical abuse, doctors trying to blind him so he couldn’t see, etc. This situation eventually escalated into him likely accidentally killing everyone, something he still blacks out trying to remember to this day despite it happening several billion years ago, and vehemently denies happening. What would a sane reaction to making a mistake that horrible even be? At his core, Bill is an extraordinarily traumatized person who has never moved on or grappled with his grief at all despite having all that time to. Seeing the more genuine, less guarded version of himself with Ford, and then seeing how catastrophically he ruined that relationship just makes him all the more interesting. He’s so wrapped up in this false showman identity he presents as a result of trying to repress the guilt and pain he feels that he completely lacks a sense of self and can never, ever be honest with himself or he’ll die. He’s awesomeeeeeeeeeee"
2. "He’s got a really fun energy. dream blunt rotation kinda guy"
