“Well good. I wasn’t in the mood to make   a mess tonight anyway.” Which was the truth. He wasn’t like his brother. He didn’t always enjoy his job. He didn’t like to rip lives apart and break hearts. But someone had to do it. He sighed softly and relaxed a bit. “Well it’s a good idea you moved. It’s not safe here.”

“That’s usually what someone would say   if they were planning on hurting you.” Sam slowly lowered his weapon but kept his distance from her. He glanced around quickly then eyed her once more. He was still cautious. “What are you doing here?”

“Stay back. I don’t want to hurt you.” Sam was never quite the same after having to take Madison down. She too was a werewolf. And he still blames himself for not being able to save her. He thinks that maybe here he has a chance to fix this. Not every monster deserved d e a t h.
