There are a lot of days I don’t think about you at all, but there are some days I can’t get you off my mind. The memories, the what if’s, the laughs, the future plans that fell through, the conversations we shared, I will always remember. I know God put you in my life for a reason. Many things went wrong on both of our parts, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t suppose to meet you. You showed me that even though discouragement consumes my mind about failed relationships, that I can love and be loved. You showed me I can encourage you while you encourage me. You made me feel beautiful again. You showed me that I shouldn’t get down on myself and appreciate the way God made me. I know God’s plans and love is much greater than what we had planned, but that doesn’t mean I don’t look back and smile about the good times. To the boys I dated but it didn’t workout with, thank you for giving me a chance to love again. Tonight I’m praying for you. I’m thinking about you. I hope and pray that God is taking your hearts and filling all the empty spaces with His love and strength. That He shapes you and molds you into the young men He so desires you to be. Sometimes I’m sad it’s over, but God’s got something better. Thank you for the memories. ❤️
