Day 5 if this year's inktober, we had a cassoulet (the little haricot beans were a new addition as they were the only suitable beans in the cupboard, and they were so good in this recipe that it's our preferred bean for this now!)

Day 4 of inktober we had bangers and mash with caramelised onions and sautéed red cabbage

Day 3 of this year's inktober we had our take on a spaghetti bolognese

Day 2 of inktober - we had a creamy Dijon mustard chicken stew with herb dumplings

Day 1 of inktober this year - we had baked trout with pommes de terre au fromage, and a side of peas and sweetcorn

So for inktober this year I did a bunch of mini food / recipe illustrations of all the food I ate that month. I posted them all on Instagram but I've been neglecting tumblr for a while and want to get back on here - so I'll be posting all of my inktober drawings on here over the next few weeks!
