Does it mean you could go with as small as possible?

The general consensus is that a cage should be about the same diameter as one's flaccid penis, and maybe a half inch longer. The small diameter is to keep the blood from making the penis swell, which is part of the discomfort. The length is to allow for just a little bit of movement, or else the head of one's penis will try to force the cage forward, which pulls on the testicle skin.

Frankly, I have no idea about the nub or flat cages. I have no desire to try them, nor does my wife had any desire to look at them. I can't imagine that they are either comfortable or convenient for wearing all day, every day. 🔏
