i genuinely don’t think tubbo is trying/is intentionally being a “bad” or “corrupt” president. he’s being led down the wrong path, quackity and fundy both have different ideals from tubbo, and they are heavily imposing their morals, ideals, views, opinions etc on tubbo to the point where he’s lost sight of what he truly wants for himself and new l’manberg.

i think that after an entire month since his presidency, we saw the true tubbo at the end of tonight’s stream.

his genuine concern and compassion towards tommy. his real platonic love and friendship towards tommy. he showed his true colors and intentions for the first time in nearly a month. tommy. his friendships. he doesn’t truly care about new l’manberg, not like he’s expected to and forced into thinking he does.

his heart is truly set on peace. on friendship.

not government, or power, or any of the bullshit that’s been forced into his brain by previous dictators and his cabinet mates.

they were just so violent. they accosted him in his house, threatened him if he didn't give up techno's coords, and as soon as phil started to hesitate they started robbing, arresting and ridiculing him.

and even worse, quackity did the same thing wilbur did to tubbo three times already: threaten someone, get into some horrible set of circumstances, then pass it onto the shoulders of a teenager.
