Highway To Oblivion

Not Invincible, not Marvel. And that’s absolutely incredible. The game itself is too in spite of its presentation shortcomings and lack of features at launch. It’s fast, very free in its movement options and as offense-heavy as a fighting game can be.

I go through phases like this in my life where a person approaches me about how I live my day-to-day comfortably and wants me to feel bad about how I do things. It’s quite bizarre and unnecessary. And it’s almost always due to a lack of understanding.

The thing I keep coming back to though, is this: To love something, to be invested in it, is to care about its quality. To care about whether it has the proper parachute equipped to stick the landing so that it doesn’t come face-to-face with the pavement. There is certainly negativity for negativity’s sake in everyday conversation, but if I’m sharing an opinion with you, it’s not automatically going to be positive just to fit the vibes in the room.
