“wait - why do you get to name him.. or her?” wondered out the blonde as she turned to face her brother. her eyes went back to the lifeguard, “see, i would love tooo but nope,” she swung her legs over the side of the lounge chair. cam was easily talked into things but when it came to people that she found attractive, she was a nervous mess. “okay for kitten names - i was thinking that kiki, pixie, milo, nemo, dory, alvin, groot, annnd timberlake.” she counted off of her fingers before looking back to her brother.

“those names all kinda suck, but come on !!” mateo groaned and turned his head to look at the lifeguard, not even trying to be discreet about it. so maybe it was wrong of him to keep pushing her, but the whole thing was just too amusing to let go off. “let me just go over there and talk to him for you. i promise you won't regret it.” he kept pressing, lips curling into a smirk.

vivian: that is actually adorable! 

vivian: you know, i have always thought it would be fun to get a tattoo. 

josh: get one that really lets people know what you’re about   josh: like ‘gay rights’ or the dancing girl emoji

laying on her back, camila has her hands behind her head. soaking in the summer sun, it was nice and she kept making eyes at the lifeguard. something that she has been doing since they arrived at the pool. but upon hearing her brother, the blonde turned her head to look at him.  “ooh what?” cooed out the dancer, sitting up from her spot to turn on her back. “i think lord tubbington the second will love a friend that is actually real,” camila mused out, happily. “let’s do it!” she was easily talked into mostly doing anything and everything.

“yeah ? then i call dibs on naming rights.” mateo grinned, pushing his sunglasses over his head. “so... when are you gonna go over there and talk to him ??” he asked and nodded in the direction of the lifeguard. he had noticed her ogling the guy earlier but hadn’t said anything until now, finding the whole thing pretty funny to watch. ”please let me be your wingman, i swear i won’t let you down !! i’ll go over there right now and ask for his number.” he insisted and sat up. 

“Dude, that was hilarious! I can’t believe that wipe out!”

mateo was splayed across the couch at an awkward angle, head nearly hanging off the edge as he stared at the tv with a bored look on his face. “can we please watch something else ??” 

“Yeah, that’d be great, actually,” Rory agreed. “But are y’sure? Because this is going to be a dusk ‘til dawn sort of a study session. And most people find the idea of that truly repulsive.”

mateo shrugged, “i was probably most likely gonna pull an all nighter anyway. my sleeping schedule has been so inconsistent since summer started... i’ve already had three separate naps today.” he rolled down the window and stuck his hand out into the breeze. “so what subjects are you studying ?”

vivian: i would pick something small that means a lot to you, like a flower or a symbol 

rhiannon sat behind the counter of lima comics at the mall, trying to design a new character for her graphic design class. she was bored as hell, just trying to get though the work day - it seems as though they haven’t had a customer for hours - so when she heard the door open you’d imagine she’d jump up to help the person walking in. instead, she greeted them with an unenthusiastic “welcome to lima comics…” eyes and focus not lifting from the sketch she was working on. 

mateo was meeting a friend at the mall but had arrived a bit early, so he figured he would pop into lima comics and annoy rhiannon while he waited. “watcha drawin’ ?” he did his best impression of phineas & ferb’s isabella as he rested his elbows on the counter, chin cupped in his hands.
