- I headcanon that Laffitte has a Snow Owl Model of a Harpy type zoan devil fruit,
- Laffitte can barely feel the cold, if ever, even if his wings arent specifically out? He feels the insulation from fine feathers that are under his skin, his chest acts as a damn heater,
- Laffitte consistently makes police brutality and corruption jokes, he was a policeman, hes aloud to,
- Laffitte has a few gold hoop earrings, they have different inscriptions in them, all of them have been stolen from a raid back in the West Blue before he was exiled,
- Laffitte's cane tapping is an idle gesture that he does without thinking, but in specific circumstances? He uses the canes rythmic tapping as a version of hypnosis,
- Another version of Laffittes hypnosis is his singing, he uses it in order to lure opponents before uses his boot to push them off of cliffs, as he rarely engages in battle,
- After his exile, he found out that you had also been exiled for being his coworker, so. He had just taken you under his wing, literally, and just dragged you into the Blackbeard Pirates along with him,
- Sometimes if Laffitte doesnt want to have you fight? Hell just hang you up on a tree branch by your collar so you cant get down and then come collect you when the battles over,
- Laffitte got his nickname of Demon Sherrif from his police brutality, but also due to his harpy nature with his devil fruit?
- Laffitte is extremely good at mimicking handwriting, he uses it to help him forge checks and insurance for supply routes to redirect them to Fullalead island,
- Laffitte's calligraphy is very precise and he uses a quill of his own feathers dipped in ink to write, hs keeps many notebooks with precise copies of notable figures handwriting so he can reference them if he needs to,
- Laffitte often likes to whistle and mimic bird songs that he hears, sometimes he does it in the dead of night, which scares the shit out of Teach,
- Laffitte has chronic insomnia, which means that hes awake a lot during the night and the day, although, he rarely shows that hes tired,
- Laffitte has a habit of perching on the taller members of the crews shoulders, usually for a vantage point as he has a lot of trouble seeing things up close but is much better seeing them long distance,
- Laffitte has a cane as a weapon, but he also uses it as he has chronic pain in his left leg, which is why he usually leans heavily on his right leg and has an uneven way of walking which is often interpreted as a skipping like gait,
- Lafitte always wears a top hat because his snow owl feathers are tangled in his hairline,
