Am I Nima is a game I think goes in a similar place that Slay the Princess goes where it seems like a game right up my alley, except I get spooked far to easily to ever really enjoy trying it out.

I think the thing I love about Mirio is that he would have been completely worthy of All Might's power. Like, in his introduction arc, we learn that Nighteye wanted Mirio to be the new symbol of peace, and the arc could have very easily gone the direction of showing that he shouldn't have that power or that Izuku is ultimately a better fit, but the manga doesn't do that at all. He is show to be incredibly kind, has a good head on his shoulders, and is just heroic to his core. While we eventually learn that it's a good thing that he didn't get the power, at the end of the arc, it's completely believable that Izuku asks if he wants to become the next users of One For All.

Re-downloaded a dating app for the first time in over a year, and I've come to the realization that the biggest factor to determine if I'll swip right on someone is if I think I'd be able to have a conversation about Winds and Waves with them.

I think one of my favorite moments whenever I watch/read people reacting to One Piece for the first time is when they realize that Roger died within living memory. Like, I think a lot of people assume at the start of the series that Roger is this ancient figure, and that no one has found the One Piece in hundreds of years as that's what normally happens when a story is based on a legend. But then they start seeing characters who reference that they knew Roger personally, and then we meet Brook who was originally active before Roger even rose to fame. It's just a fun moment of reevaluating assumptions.

Early today I described the type of game I liked as "Progressive Politics. Cheerful presentation, but deeply sad".

Flapple and Appletun really need evolutions. If it was just Dipplin then I would not have a problem. Applin can evolve into one of 3 types of apples. It would fine. I also don't mind Hydrapple as a Pokemon. But it opened up a can of wyrms that really put it above the other evolution lines. And sure Flapple and Appletun have Gigantamax forms, but that probably won't exist outside of Galar. Give me more apple themed dragons!
