Yes he is, but it's more low-key. Frankenstrike will do stuff like constantly remind the other aliens to eat and rest, but in a really gruff way that makes it sound like he doesn't care if they don't, he's just saying.
When Ben was a kid, Frankenstrike would make sure he kept his identity a secret while doing hero stuff, because he didn't want every bad guy on Earth to come for a ten-year-old boy.
