Indies need our support to thrive & build community spaces for all...mega-retailers do not.

When I was a bookseller, I sometimes overheard, "Oh, you guys don't have the book I'm looking for. I'll just get get it on Amazon." Our bookstore company had marketing meetings to specifically address Amazon alternatives to customers, from displaying posters in the store for Libro.fm , mentioning Bookshop.org, and even concluding transactions with saying, "Thank you for supporting your local indie bookstore!".
