the managers:

creek turns up alive but he lived secretly with one of the trolls subgenres like the reggae or classical trolls after escaping death.

he turns up at pop village looking to reconcile with poppy romantically, only to find she's moved on to branch and left him in the past after he pulled that stunt and left everyone for dead. he shows up to poppy's home begging for a second chance and she lets him because of their past together, but branch knows its obviously a scheme to take his place. the whole movie is spent with creek subtly trying to win poppy's heart again and branch trying to get rid of him because he knows there's no possible way creek could've ever changed.
