Hi! I'm Mary. Here you'll mostly find posts about series, games and music. Sometimes analysis, sometimes opinions or notes.
I've shared posts about Digimon Adventure, Digimon Story Time Stranger and Genshin Impact but I'm also into other themes like The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Pokemon and a few others.
I post about what moves me in the moment. It's not a themed blog, just an evolving mix of things I enjoy. If something here doesn't match your interests, that's fine. You can unfollow me anytime or mute tags so you can choose what you see.
I also keep an archive sideblog maryysarchive (in case you come across it).

While Determination puts the Chosen, especially Joe and Mimi, under a lot of pressure, the digimon interactions in this OVA have some slice of life moments where you see that their bond isn't functioning just as a combat unit.
Starting with the Onsen, watching Meicoomon learning to swim while calling everyone "senpai" despite being an Adult level digimon is cute. The veteran digimon act as overprotective older siblings, coaching her until she finally manages to do it.
Then there's Piyomon and Agumon encouraging Gabumon to take off his fur pelt so he can enjoy the pool. Gabumon hasn't been seen without it, except on File Island back in 1999 when he wrapped it around a freezing Yamato like a blanket to save his life and even then we only saw his shadow. So watching him finally give in and sink into the water while the others give him his space shows how safe he feels around them.
Another day at Koushiro's office, Leomon arrives with Taichi and it's impossible for me not to love how imposing and kindhearted he is. His input helps them realize the distortions started after the infection in the Digital World. While the other digimon get anxious hearing this serious conversation, wondering if they should protect themselves with bug repellent, sunblock or surgical masks, Koushiro calms them down by mentioning he created a super secure server to keep them safe (though they were already infected but the server was still useful).
Later, while the school festival is happening, Leomon babysits the digimon back in Koushiro's office. They all eat together while worrying about Palmon being injured after fighting Orgemon, and Tentomon and Patamon offer her some food to comfort her. Then they start praising Meicoomon for bravely facing Orgemon, showing how close they're all becoming.
I also liked Tentomon's support when Gomamon left Joe's house without telling him and how Koushiro accepted Tentomon's request not to tell Joe that Gomamon was with them without asking any questions, protecting Gomamon's feelings and giving him a place to stay.
There's also the hilarious moment where the digimon try to convince Leomon to take them to the school festival. He remains unfazed because, while they all look cute, he knows these little creatures are basically the most powerful digimon in the world. That is until Meicoomon asks him with her innocent voice and face, Leomon instantly gives in and Piyomon's reaction is priceless.
Finally, we see them at the school festival acting like mischievous kids and Meicoomon wins the weird costume contest just by being so adorable, leaving their partners a bit jealous while the other digimon celebrate because they'll get free food.
It's pure slice of life in the middle of the darkness these characters are going through, right before Determination ends so abruptly with the Digimon Kaiser's appearance, Leomon's death by a corrupted Meicoomon and Himekawa secretly enjoying the anomaly.
Continuing on Mimi's and Joe's arc in Determination, what brought Mimi's spark back was validation from Meiko, who in turn felt happy to be part of something good thanks to Mimi. I found super sweet that Meiko had the initiative to tell Mimi how much she impacted her in a positive way.
As for Joe, Gomamon leaves his house, saddened to see that Joe's evading his responsibility as a Chosen, overwhelmed by his studies which aren't even going well. When Taichi lets him know that Gomamon's at the school festival, Joe goes looking for him. Then Gomamon tells him he's stepping aside to take the pressure of fighting off his shoulders, adding that he won't run away but will just leave Joe in peace.
In the past, Tentomon, Palmon and Gabumon, for example, stayed by their partners' sides through their doubts. Even in Tri, Agumon stays by Taichi's side while he hesitates to fight, but the difference is that Taichi was honest with Agumon from the start, on top of not having the academic pressure that Joe has (which changes in Last Evolution Kizuna). Here, Gomamon walks away to spare Joe the pressure but Joe fails to react, leaving Gomamon to face a life or death battle alone, until Hikari tells Joe that his partner is fighting and helps him remember that being chosen as partners is all the reason he needs.
Then Joe runs toward his partner, giving him all his support and triggering his Mega evolution into Vikemon for the first time. It's crazy how much Gomamon had to endure to get Joe back, but his patience paid off, Joe proved he's truly reliable.
Inspired by that momentum and Joe validating her, Mimi also achieves Mega evolution, with Lillymon becoming Rosemon. And together with Leomon, they defeat Black Imperialdramon.
Facing their own darkness and getting through it was what unlocked their true power.
In Determination, I feel moved by everything that happens between Joe and Gomamon, and with Mimi and Palmon / Meiko. In the scene where Koushiro confronts Mimi and tells her she's egocentric, it hurts but I get both sides, people's frustration with her reckless choices, and Mimi's genuine belief that she's helping everyone. Her attitude might lean toward control or wanting the spotlight but it comes from a good intention, even if that isn't always enough.
Meiko isn't exactly a beloved character but she shows how tough it is to be the new person trying to fit into a group that already has its established dynamics, carrying that pressure of having to adapt to others, which ends up suppressing who you are.
You can't always say what you think because everything has consequences, and a lot of times you just want to blend in to survive. I think that's why Meiko is drawn to Mimi's energy, but at the same time, that attitude is what Mimi gets called out on and what makes her clash with some people, because you can't just go through life doing whatever you feel like without thinking about how it affects everyone else.
On the other hand, there's Joe, caught between the desire to be there for his friends and the weight of adult responsibilities he can't put off. When you're that overwhelmed, you lose perspective, you get so locked into your everyday problems that you fail to see you have the privilege of being called to something truly bigger.
Hikari overhears Mimi and Joe's conversation, allowing her to understand both Joe's absence and Taichi's evasive behavior.
Later on, both Meiko for Mimi and Hikari for Joe are key to what happens next.
Digimon Adventure tri: Reunion | Taichi and Yamato.
The amount of body language packed into these TWO MINUTES is insane, I've always preferred scenes that focus on showing rather than telling.
The physical progression mirrors their emotional state. As Taichi contemplates the chaos, he seems to be having an anxiety crisis, he's frozen and dissociated. Yamato yells at him from a distance trying to get him to react, but when Taichi tries to move, he freezes or sways. And when he sees Yamato approaching, he closes his eyes and braces instinctively, as if expecting the punch that used to "fix" their differences in the past.
But what Yamato does instead is completely invade his personal space surrounding him with one hand on his back and the other on his chest and closing every inch of distance between them, anchoring him to the present. In the middle of an anxiety crisis, the brain loses track of its own body and that physical contact eliminates the outside noise, brings you back to reality and forces you to listen to a single voice.
I feel like this scene redefines their dynamic. Yamato takes on the role of protector reminding him that when he drowns in doubt, he'll be there to hold him up (though there's also a heavy codependency between them to form Omegamon).
Taichi's focus on the moment, anchored by Yamato's presence and words, triggers the memory of the moment they received the arrows of Light and Hope to achieve their Mega levels for the first time, breaking the paralysis. Once the memory restores that blind trust between them, Taichi stands up and is now the one helping Yamato back to his feet. They don't say a word, they just lock eyes. The moment Yamato notices that Taichi doesn't look away, that his gaze is fixed with determination, he realizes they're in sync, allowing them to fuse into Omegamon to face Alphamon.
To me, Yamato made a big effort to ground Taichi. He wasn't overly soft but he didn't push him over the edge either. It's like he instinctively knows just what chords to strike to make Taichi snap out of it, even though he constantly claims he doesn't understand him, showing a profound level of connection between them.

Digimon Adventure tri: Reunion | Taichi and Yamato.
This is another scene from Reunion that I love, for two reasons:
First, because of its parallelism with The Wheel of Fortune. Sitting directly across from each other, looking in opposite directions as the wheel turns, they embody the metaphor of how their roles have been inverted in Tri. The one who used to act on impulse is now paralyzed by perspective and the weight of the consequences, and the one who used to overthink and hold back is now demanding action. As Chosen, they're trapped in a cycle they can't get off until they figure out who they are now through the tests that life throws at them.
Second, because of the emotional density. They're suspended in the air, isolated in their own bubble facing the immensity of their emotions the sea. Yamato tries not to be harsh with him but he refuses to let him stagnate. Meanwhile, Taichi is honest about his doubts, carrying the guilt of knowing he's letting down the expectations of the friend who's always relied on his courage.
When you've carried too much responsibility, when you're sensitive and people expect you to always be the strong one, burnout is inevitable.
Sometimes the problem is that you don't know how to ask for help, or you believe that nobody can help you. Other times, when you finally voice what you're feeling, people think you've changed, that you're acting strange, or that you just need to "be yourself again". Maybe it's their own fear of change, a feeling that you're abandoning them, or simply because they don't know how to handle what you used to deal with on your own.
When everyone knows what you're capable of, and you know it too, it becomes almost impossible to step back or fail without feeling like you're betraying yourself and them. It's nice that they believe in you, but it becomes exhausting when you aren't allowed to just drop the weight.
In the end, both needed to leave behind the versions of the past that no longer served them and recalibrate.
Digimon Adventure tri: Reunion | Taichi and Agumon.
This is one of my favorite scenes from the beginning of Tri, in Reunion.
Being hyper-aware of the real impact of your actions, and the fear of messing up when you're trying to do the right thing on so many fronts could end up paralyzing you.
Sometimes people can get attached to that old and predictable version of you, losing the ability to see that you're making a huge effort just to stay afloat.
And sometimes all you need is zero judgment and just some hugs a little more support.
Some of Diluc's appearances in Lohen's story quest «A Knight's Legacy»
Diluc respecting a Knight of Favonius? Wow! And Varka got roasted for free.
Varka dropping the lore that he, Crepus and Eroch were once three young men with big dreams, one succeeded, the next succeeded harder, and the last one ended up manipulated by one of Dottore's segments.
Then Varka literally just said "I'm keeping a close eye on my subordinates this time" and not even five seconds later Adorno, Theodore and Lohen were just gone …
YOU HAD ONE JOB!!!! 🥲
Diluc was right all along "The Knights of Favonius... Inefficient right from beginning to end." 💔
Diluc not being part of the Knights of Favonius yet somehow always ends up implicated in their affairs LMAO.
Jokes aside, Diluc being involved in this mission felt important. I wouldn't call it character development but I like seeing him alongside Varka and getting more Crepus lore.
This whole sequence deserved an animation, but the artwork is beautiful.
Just wanted to share and archive the JP dub of Kaveh and Alhaitham's conversation under the stars here.
Because I first played the AQ with the JP dub—which, ngl, completely whelmed me with all the Feelings™ towards the end lmao—I'm always going to be partial towards the voice-acting here the most. I think both Taso and Umehara did a really great job portraying a softness and emotional vulnerability to Kaveh and Alhaitham's characters here, with such a good balance of earnestness, playful banter, and an underlying affection throughout.
Lol what's with that look... The way they just held each other's silent gaze for 5 seconds before Kaveh felt too self-conscious and had to look away...
In all seriousness though, I love how this silent exchange between them really set the tone of their conversation for the rest of the scene. One would've expected the usual biting jibe to Kaveh's odd question, but Alhaitham merely took a glance at Kaveh and, immediately noticing his fatigue, decided against it. He had even sensed the nervous restlessness that Kaveh tried to hide—there's always a possibility their plans would fail tomorrow, and the world might fall into ruin—when Kaveh started fussing over him to make sure Alhaitham had food and water. Love how Kaveh's way of dealing with nervous energy is to instinctively take care of Alhaitham rofl..... Senpai :")
It’s likely that Alhaitham had long observed how Kaveh unconsciously seeks his presence out of habit for comfort and as a way to ground himself whenever he's feeling anxious and fretful. And even though Alhaitham himself was also tired from the events of the day, he didn't brush Kaveh away. Despite what some might still think, Alhaitham has always demonstrated his empathy and kindness to those who needed it—we've already seen it in several instances during his interactions with Shani, Rahman, Ilyas and even Paimon (to name a few), and we also see it implied in this AQ with his concern over Nahida's initial collapse and Collei's overall wellbeing.
Here, he was patient when listening to Kaveh's worries and offered some words of comfort and encouragement in his own way—that they've already done all that they could to the best of their knowledge and abilities under these pressing circumstances; that even he has a limit to who and what he can influence, no matter how meticulous or organized his plans are. So, all he can do is not fall into the trap of overthinking and ruminating over things beyond his control.
It's also nice to see Kaveh listening to Alhaitham in return and accepting his words in good faith this time (instead of assuming it's always veiled criticism against him). Perhaps their earlier success with the chessboard trials have opened not only their eyes and minds to the wondrous possibilities they can perceive and achieve together despite their differences, but it also made them remember their emotional connection, the intimacy of opening up their hearts to one another again—that's why they could finally allow themselves to lower the emotional walls they had long built up around each other and be much more open and earnest with their words; to show a gentler kind of warmth and affection towards each other.
I also just love this callback to that first heated interaction they had. And seeing Alhaitham's tiniest smile when he teased Kaveh with "You're often the one who initiates these things, you know" YES MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY...!! I've always figured this was the case too, that Kaveh is the one who usually goes around looking for Alhaitham (and not the other way around lol), and that he is as much at fault as Alhaitham is whenever they get catty and devolve into arguments. They're just as bad as each other, honestly XD. Still, it's so cute that they both recognise and accept this flaw within themselves in good humour and even exchange teasing remarks at the same time. The fact that Kaveh can tell Alhaitham is also comforted by his presence and having him around to debate and exchange deeper insights with ("It's good having me around to help out, huh?" "Absolutely")..... My heart :"D
I don't even know how to be coherent anymore aghhjdkjkssj but Kaveh reciting the line that Alhaitham once said to him before in Parade of Providence, but this time with that little smile because he finally, finally understood the meaning and actions behind those words, and how Alhaitham had always been trying to support him in his own way; and then the way Alhaitham himself was genuinely surprised Kaveh still remembers that line after all this time.... this actually brought tears to my eyes while playing fCUK I STILL HAVE SO MUCH STUPID FEELS ABOUT THIS MOMENT LOL...
And somehow, somehow my brain had an intuitive feeling that the two Kavetham colour-coded birbs perched atop the cliff and watching the edge of the horizon in Simulanka might be a Vague Hint/Foreshadowing of a possible future event back in the middle of 2024....... what the heck man lol
I love your reading of this scene, it made me think about how far they've come since Kaveh went to find Alhaitham at the House of Daena in version 3.2 after the crisis in Sumeru involving Dottore and the Sages.
I think the main difference here is the gentle and empathetic tone Kaveh uses when approaching Alhaitham. Usually Kaveh arrives overflowing with anxiety making a scene and throwing accusations at him, but on this night he channels that nervous energy into making sure Alhaitham hydrates and eats. That absence of defensiveness is what allows Alhaitham (despite being exhausted and overwhelmed by the events of the day) to let his guard down and focus on listening to Kaveh helping him manage his anxiety, showing a moment of mutual care where one tends to the physical (food, water) while the other attends to the emotional by grounding him in what he can control.
Seeing Kaveh quote Alhaitham's exact words gave me chills, it's proof that behind all his complaints, he pays full attention to him. With that “Hmm?”, I'm not sure if Alhaitham genuinely didn't understand what he was referring to, or if he was surprised to see that Kaveh actually listens to him and validates him.
How different everything would've been if back in version 3.2 Kaveh had entered the House of Daena by first asking Alhaitham whether it was a good time to talk instead of demanding explanations, but the reality is that at that point neither of them had the capacity to step out of their own perspective and meet the other without getting defensive. Kaveh was carrying immense insecurity due to all the unexplained changes happening in Sumeru, his abandonment wound must've been at its absolute peak. Meanwhile, Alhaitham was operating in survival mode while dealing with severe exhaustion. They've had to go through so much together since then, requiring extraordinary patience from Alhaitham and, on Kaveh's side, a willingness to become less judgmental and stop assuming hidden motives behind every word Alhaitham says (which is understandable considering how much he's suffered throughout his life, except this time he's defending himself against the one person who's actually trying to help him... in his own way, yes... but all he needs is to be accepted for who he is), demonstrating that although their current dynamic isn't perfect, the progress is remarkable.
All of this comes full circle in the later scene in their damaged home when Kaveh confesses his reliance on anguish as a source of inspiration for his artistry, and then, when challenging Alhaitham about what skills he's been mastering lately, Alhaitham picks up Kaveh's paint box to carry it to his room, and although Kaveh remains oblivious assuming it's some kind of bribe, by taking the box Alhaitham is literally removing a tangible burden from Kaveh's hands to ease his intangible burden as well, and in turn, Kaveh responds to that gesture by deciding to repair Alhaitham's most valuable books, demonstrating that they're both learning to meet in that space between, showing care through the simplest of mediums.
Technically, this blog was born about 5 years ago, but today marks its first real year of activity.
I think I created this account years ago to look for vision board inspo (kind of how pinterest is used) but it has been my digital journal for a year now since I started posting. I came from writing in my physical journals, onenote and a stint on reddit where I ended up while searching for info on Digimon Adventure Tri because I couldn't believe it existed, I don't think I had even reached the part where Kuwagamon attacks Odaiba before I was already googling reviews of these OVAs, my jaw hit the floor the moment the Tri intro started playing. Seeing people share tumblr links there to back up their points is how I discovered that you could write, log things and be part of different communities here.
Back then, I had zero clue how this place worked, I didn't get the reblogs, archives or even tags, which mean so much more here than just a search filter.
As someone who loves keeping records of different moments, how amazing would it have been if the 2022 me, who used to write in her onenote, had known about this place.

Paimon tells Wanderer that she feels useless because even though she's always with the Traveler she can't do anything in moments of real danger and she recalls the time the Traveler was kidnapped by Dottore and how helpless she felt, which leads her to think about what would happen if the Traveler never came back and she had to face everything alone, ending up feeling like a burden and wishing she could be a friend who's actually useful.
Wanderer acknowledges her feelings and says that when doubt appears, the only options are to give up or change, and that the decision has to come from within because no one else can solve it for her. He puts the choice on her telling her to decide whether she wants to become stronger or learn more, and to take action so she'll have no regrets knowing that she at least tried.
"I'm not gonna try and encourage you. What I will say is this: When you start doubting yourself, you have two choices - give up, or change.
You have to make the decision to move forward. Otherwise, no amount of consolation from other people is gonna help you.
So ask yourself - what do you want? To get stronger? To learn more? Whatever it is, go do it. You won't have any regrets if you can at least say that you tried."
Wanderer is helping her face her doubts and the insecurity that makes her question her own worth. What matters isn't avoiding failure but reaching a point where the choice was made consciously, so nothing is left as a regret because the real risk is getting stuck.
PS. The fact that Alhaitham insists so much on her education is one of the most beautiful and low profile things in the story. It has been going on for around 3 years and he keeps sending her books, reminding her about exams and even applying her for the Driyosh giving her the tools to understand the world and hold her own. It says a lot about Alhaitham that he decided to invest time and effort into educating Paimon even if it brings him no direct benefit.
PPS. Hmm… could Hoyoverse be foreshadowing a separation between the Traveler and Paimon? Or maybe that she's about to awaken her true powers?
The house is a mess, the books are damaged and everything is scattered everywhere. For Kaveh it feels like chaos, for Alhaitham the material side of it is secondary because they're alive and managed to stop something far worse.
That shows how differently they perceive the world. While Kaveh transforms suffering into meaning, Alhaitham focuses on reducing it.
When Alhaitham points out that people usually try to improve their situation once anguish becomes the norm, Kaveh confesses that anguish has become a source of inspiration for him and he isn't sure he could break his reliance on it.
Then Alhaitham replies:
"happy that you can always find an answer that backs up your views."
Acknowledging Kaveh's remarkable talent for constructing narratives that justify his suffering and make it feel meaningful, framing it as a skill Kaveh has been mastering.
Then Kaveh asks what Alhaitham has mastered perhaps expecting something intellectual, but Alhaitham responds with help instead. He grabs Kaveh's paints, offers to take them to his room and assists without making a big deal out of it.
Kaveh is caught off guard and internally wonders if this is some kind of bribe, failing to realize that this practical action IS Alhaitham's way of showing care.
They both take care of each other even if they feel the other doesn't know how to show it properly.
PS. The OST being so wholesome only reinforces the intimacy, warmth and sense of home they've built together.
The rooftop scene with Alhaitham and Kaveh at the Mausoleum of King Deshret was another one of my favorites in this archon quest.
Every time they had to work together during this mission (and any mission where they're together), Kaveh's ability to get irritated at Alhaitham over the smallest things always made me laugh. I kept rolling my eyes at him but it never gets tiring because they know when to stop, and under all the bickering there's familiarity, trust and balance.
The more I watch Alhaitham, the more fond I grow of his character. He filters everything through logic first and stays highly rational, but he doesn't feel heartless to me (I think Dottore is the real example of rational and heartless). Even if he won't be dragged by emotions, he always ends up helping for real by actually solving the problem and preventing things from spiraling further.
I relate to Kaveh a lot and that's why I see how important it is to have an Alhaitham in your life, or to build that clarity yourself. He drops something practical and suddenly everything feels smaller and clearer like you've been drowning in a puddle. But he doesn't do it out of cruelty, he simply doesn't sugarcoat anything and just lays the facts straight.
He basically says: focus on what you can actually control, everything else just turns into pointless suffering. Accept the situation, drop the unnecessary pain and put your energy into what you can do for yourself.
Alhaitham reads Kaveh the way he reads one of his books, and Kaveh always ends up feeling exposed and vulnerable in front of him, but in the end, they always hold each other up.
Nefer being drawn back once again into a crisis that threatens the world, except this time the problem is in her own homeland.
It's difficult to be called back to a painful past, to a place that showed you no compassion and yet life asks you to be compassionate toward it.
Nicole was brilliant in this conversation, appealing to that strong emotion still living in her heart and memories so that none of it would be meaningless. Because even if that feeling is hatred, that intensity still doesn't compare to the emptiness that comes after everything disappears.
"We all need a reality check once in a while, so we don't forget the truth."
Very true Nefer.
PS. Nicole counting on Alice's money cracked me up.
It's being a very tiring time of my life, my job is going wonderfully and that's exactly why I've been kinda absent. Days are long and I come home really drained with zero creativity... It's being a very burnout time.
Even so, a couple of weeks ago, seeing my boyfriend opening steam on our pc, to play, i asked:
"Do we still have The sims installed?"
"Why? Do you wanna play it?"
"Maybe..."
"Do it, it will help you rest a bit."
So, I was missing drawing my comics, I was missing my kids... what did I end up doing?
Don't tell me you weren't expecting this.
My Miyako
I only have the base game and a couple of dlc so I really made my best to come out with this. I tried my best to recreate her outfit picking either from the anime and official arts and collaborations. My favourite must be the winter one, too bad we don't have her red coat (from Adventure 02) cause everything else is just so on point. A bit sad we don't have a cow patterned bathsuit. This is really something sad.
I HAD A LOT OF FUN.
Was I satisfied after creating her? Of course I wasn't.
My Ken
Oh this boy, how I love him.
Unfortunately the game doesn't offer many haircuts and most of all, many hair colours, so I went for something similar to short haired Ken, which I love, and for black hair. I mean the blue was peacock blue, not the best for him. As for Miyako, I tried to dress him as similar as his official outfits and arts. Isn't his summer outfit (second from right) just exacly as his Kizuna's one? I am proud.
The 02 gang.
I ended up talking about this crazy idea with my friend @maryychill, who fully embraced this project, and we ended up creating a whole digidestined gang, yeah 12 people plus some bonus eheh (You can see more on her blog, she did a lot, a looot).
Here they are! I made everyone except for Hikari (Made by Mary, cause she's her favourite). I am really enjoying playing with all of them, They are all teens except for Iori, of course, who is still a little kid and is SO CUTE.
Now, about the game.
I love playing with Miyako, I made her live with her siblings, Momoe, Mantarou and Chizuru. They live in Willow Creek near a strange tree. I made Miyako interact with it and found out an incredibly beautiful place. I made her call everyone and explore it.
Really guys, do we have Digiworld in the sims? I mean, look at this place!
They had a pic nic there and at some point Ken thought it was a good idea to start doing his homeworks... Iori soon followed the example, helped by Miyako and did a great job! Takeru hugging him after he finished with his study was just too cute.
Talking about hugs, Ken and Miyako are a couple! Can you believe it? In my game? It's super funny they frequently meet in Miyako's house and her siblings are often in the way... the moment in the series she wished to be an only child is so real in this game, omg.
They are a cute couple of nerds, they even found some time to study together during a date... how romantic (?) (Maybe it is, for them)
Interactions.
I had some luck catching some of the interactions happening in the game while I wasn't asking the characters to do things.
That's what happened:
Ken hugging Iori. We all love this little kid.
Miyako receiving a gift from Ken with Chizuru being there like: "I wish that present was for me, omg"
Miyako talking with Koushiro about some interesting stuff.
Wait, Koushiro?!
Yes! I told you all the gang is there!
This is Koushirou's lab... a little crowded maybe? But the music is on, sofas are really confortable, the pc are the coolest around and we are having a big fun!
Miyako immediately went to talk to Mimi, Ken, as usual, when Iori is around goes to check on him. (I don't know why, but this is so incredibly cute, he likes the kids)
Funny finding Takeru doing his homework with Joe teaching him... and some hot dogs on the side. I don't know who made them.
The gang (almost) reunited. Keeping them all in the same room is nightmare, but we have, clockwise from the up centre: Taichi, Miyako, Yamato, Ken, Wallace, Michael, Koushiro, Mimi, Sora, Daisuke and Hikari!
What is that? A Ladybug? No guys, Tentomon. It's clearly Tentomon in Koushiro's lab! (He likes to stop in front of him sometimes and just observe him in all his red roundness).
At the moment playing this game is helping me recover from my creative burnout and it's making me incredibly happy and maybe a little bit less stressed by my job.
Ok, maybe some of you were waiting for updates from me regarding this thing.
What about your comics? Did you quit the idea of making more?
No, of course I haven't. In the last months I drew many panels from different pieces of the story (I see all of them as a whole project) and I have more than one chapter in progress, but I seem to never be 100% satisfied with anything lately, that's why I am struggling and not posting a single thing... I am really sorry for that, but yes, my block is going to end eventually and I'll be back.
For everyone who may need this, I'm sending a big hug! <3

Koushiro's house is on a 30x20 lot with 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms where he lives alone and covers his expenses with his job. The lot has a fully equipped laboratory, a barbecue area, and a swimming pool, and its lot traits are Fast Internet, Science Lair, and Study Spot, making it the perfect place to work on digital world projects, a fun spot for the chosen, and an ideal home for Koushiro.
Obviously I used cheats to build this house, which is basically a collection of gallery downloads.

Mimi's house is on a 30x20 lot with traits like Convivial, Chef's Kitchen, and Singles Hangout. It's a warm, social home perfect for cooking, entertaining friends and relaxing with her roommates. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with Mimi's being private. This used to be the Pancakes family house (sims 4 stuff) but I evicted them and moved in this team USA and it couldn't have worked out more perfectly for them.
But that's not all… the house has a basement level where, suspiciously, Wallace likes to be (I had no idea this level existed until Wallace went out of sight and when I looked for him, I found him there).

The Kido house is on a 40x30 lot with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the lot has a garden with a barbecue area, and the lot traits are Convivial, Study Spot, and Peace and Quiet, creating the perfect space for Joe and his brothers to focus on their studies, enjoy some quiet time and hang out with friends.
All of them live in Willow Creek. Taichi, Hikari, Koushiro, Miyako, Daisuke, and Ken are in the Foundry Cove neighborhood, while Yamato, Takeru, Sora, Joe, Mimi, Wallace, Michael, and Iori live in Courtyard Lane. The neighborhoods are next to each other so they run into each other pretty often.
To make my life easier and let the relationships flow, I made them all at least acquaintances, but in most cases I maxed out their friendship (100), and in others where I felt the character doesn't interact much, I left it at 50 or 30-10.
As I keep playing, those relationships will rise or fall depending on the chemistry between them.
It was a huge job to make them in a few days, I'm sure I wouldn't have done it if it weren't for Ale's help who actually came up with this idea and had already started with several characters like Miyako and her family, Daisuke and Jun, Ken, then Yamato and Takeru, Iori and his grandfather, and Wallace and Michael.
So it's been really fun, the interactions have been amusing and curious given the personalities we assigned and all the random stuff the game throws in. I'm letting them act autonomously but with an already established friendship as I explained in the previous post, with advanced careers for the adults and based on several of the Digimon Adventure series including Beyond, as well as my own headcanons which explains their different appearances, outfits and professions.
