there's a group of crazy stalker people online who deeply hate hudson and are digging through accounts of anyone he ever knew or interacted with for the purpose of finding something """""cancellable""" they can blast online bc they don't like him. i think that's insane and reflects badly on those people. they obviously don't care about any of the actual issues in question and just want an Epic Internet Own
the photo in question is of him in high school as a teenager (hey why are you trying to dig up and blast online photos of someone from when they were underage that they themselves did not post) where someone drew on his face. he's said before he struggled with being asian in a predominantly white community growing up and trying to fit in with his peers. he's an adult now and has spoken about the racism he's faced, as well as regularly speaking up about racism, homophobia, ableism, and other marginalizations he or others face.
that being said we don't know celebrities and they're not our personal friends, and you shouldn't put them on a pedestal.
i don't think you have to """stan""" him or like him or that you can't find him annoying etc etc. but i think it should be acknowledged that since his life has blown up astronomically into the spotlight, there's been a steady campaign of racism and obsessive need to "take him down" and maybe wonder why people are so obsessed with finding a "moral reason" to hate him
