The top hat made sense for p5, because it was a reference to arsene, but for p5x it just looks stupid. So i looked up what typa hat Janosik wears and apparently it's literally called outlaw hat (zbojnícky klobúk). I slightly changed the shape to also resemble a tricorne cause pirates are cool too

What i love about his design is how he doesn't wear his uniform properly. Unbuttoned blazer, a tee and a hoodie instead of a shirt - pretty relaxed and easy to maintain, very fitting and realistic for a person in depression

I also really like his hairstyle. Slightly longer hair, he might've "forgotten" to get a haircut or didn't have enough energy to do it. The curtain bangs aren't always easy to maintain, but in chinese internet they have an association with schoolgirls who want to hide their faces from others (...and cheat on tests) (ive seen discussions trust me bro)

As the story progresses, nagisa shows more of that wildcard silly and i adore him for this!! Retaking the desire to make goofy jokes is a big sign he's healing, I'm just so happy for this fella 😭😭😭

On the other hand, when in metaverse, he looks a lot more concentrated, sometimes serious as hell. Bro has seen what stolen desires feel like and doesn't want ANYONE ELSE, esp the ones he knows, to get into this hell

And at this point if we compare him with joker, it's pretty obvious that they're really different. Ren irl tries to not drive too much attention: proper uniform, glasses, posture and stuff; but joker is a complete opposite: a flashy showoff that hates the rules and the rulemakers and absolutely enjoys being a phantom thief. (Current) Nagisa is recovering from depression, trying a lot of new things and living his life again, but wonder is desperate to take all the stolen desires back, doesn't make a show of his heists, just wants to get the job done (or maybe im overthinking... Anyway imo theyre very much not the same)

For multiple times in the franchise, there's been stories about lupin vs the machine, when he always won in the end

First done in part 1, in 1972, when computers were still a new wonder and took up an entire room, he said that a machine could never predict a human's actions. Then in part 2, late 70's, the story repeated again, lupin won

Then there was part 5, all about modern technology, even ahead of its time. It was a tough battle against... against grok, basically, with all that "is this true?" shi

Still, that thing was too dangerous for society, so lupin made sure he destroys it. "Somebody will make a similar one eventually", and it DID happen.

Throughout these episodes, there was one thing going on: lupin sees his thieving as art that can't be copied by a machine. Therefore, i think he would be against gen AI.
