Bees don’t have lungs

you can’t just not have lungs

Evidently you can, provided you’re a bee

Bees are insects which means they have trachea, not like our human trachea. They have tiny openings called spiracles that can open and close to preserve water. These openings lead to a series of tubes called trachea which lead to almost every cell in an insect's body! So no they do not have lungs! Almost every insect has these tubes and openings! Biology is fascinating.
