Jerry purposely fucks up the DND games by making them too hard as a way of getting back at his shitty friends.

We see (mostly in the pilot sequence but they don’t play dnd in either that much) that the boys struggle greatly in actually defeating opponents in their campaign and overall struggle to get anything done other than argue while playing, and I think that’s because Jerry- who just like everyone else hates the other members and constantly wants to feel better than others by putting them down- makes the opponents the boys face too hard for their levels.

My theory is that Jerry is aware of a concept in DnD in which the Dungeon Master creates a purposeful death—in this case, and often other cases, a boss too powerful to destroy in the beginning—in order to set the mood for the story. Usually after a bit of story, the players are strong enough to go back and fight the same evil again. (If there's a proper name for this, I'on't know it)

But in the meantime, want to bring attention to the fact that there's a general strike happening today. ICE raids have been rampant and innocent people are being harmed, detained and even killed. If you are able, please call your reps, protest, donate to mutual aid, protect your neighbors and organize! Also hit them where it hurts and avoid spending money at all today unless absolutely necessary.
