Laika didn't know what was happening... Grace knew too well..

This was another card for the Corvid's Nest rehabilitation center I volunteer at. I'm planning on making a lot more cards, the funds from which would go to the center (bird rehabilitation is so damn expensive)😩

Here's the magpies Shnir, and Marusya (eurasian and azure-winged magpies), Kashtan and Pipa.

All these birds can't return to the wild due to injuries or other conditions. The magpies are in a cage just for the fair, after that they were returned to the aviary🪿🪿🪿

The charity fair took place on Saturday the 20th and it was so much fun (and a challenge for the volunteers). I was one of the two people responsible for taking care of the european honey buzzard named Kashtan (Chestnut). He's missing one eye due to an infection and he's one of the ambassador birds in the sanctuary. Silly little guy with a really tame personality (we love him dearly). Also there was Don Pipa (the greylag goose), Nafanya (the boreal owl) and a couple of other birds, mainly magpies💙
