A new broom and dustpan had one stupid little problem: the handles would not fit the hooks in the laundry room. So instead of wandering Ace Hardware in search of compromise, I printed the missing piece. That, to me, is the real magic of 3D printing. It is not always about making a better version of a thing. Sometimes it is about making the exact weird little thing your actual life requires. Sometimes the thing you need does not exist until you make it.
