I was striking poses in my computer chair while listening to J-pop songs and eventually sketched one of them out when I thought it'd be a cool pose to draw, and...then I fit Gunvolt to the pose. >__> I think the end result is cool. OwO

My attempt

After hearing that Choujin Locke was one inspiration behind Gunvolt, I've slowly been exposing myself to what bits of Choujin Locke are available to someone in the west who can barely read Japanese.

One such item I ended up checking out was the three-part Lord Leon OVA, which has a really cool opening sequence and a song that I cannot stop playing over and over in my head.

In the opening, Locke strikes this one pose and I decided to draw Gunvolt in that pose. :3c
