If Erin had the time, she might have been a little irked by the question. Was this real? Of course it was, of course it was like, jesus, look around. But, she didn’t have time for it. Instead all she could do was take it seriously, genuinely. “ Unfortunately, yeah. Very real. ” She replied as she continued reaching haphazardly for anything that was floating towards the cave’s mouth. Shoving it all down in the backpack along with the first aid kit. She had that, she had that– if nothing else, she had that. She looked back up to Margo as she asked another question, brain freezing for a moment. Anything. Everything. But no, if they had limited time (which was a very, very real possibility) they had to prioritise. “ Food. ” She decided. “ And clothes. Maybe clothes is more important than food, we can replace the mangoes and bananas– I don’t know, ” She rambled, cutting herself off with a rather astute declaration. “ Just, fill a bag, and– ” Her eyes spotted it. She’d seen it last night and intended on having a better look today. Hear the recording for herself if she could. “ Fill a bag with anything you can and then we’ll take the black box together, ” She said, nodding towards the orange box. However, not quite able to stand in the leadership position so soon after running away and being brought back she had to check “ Yeah? That sounds good, right? ” She asked, still filling the stupid backpack with whatever she could.
margo nodded in response to erin's confirmation that yes there was another shit cherry ontop of the shit sundae that was being stranded on an island. usually margo would have been irritated that one of her stupid questions got a simple response but she was too hungover and distracted to care. the instructions erin gave her were simple but margo needed them in the moment. the part of her brain that coulld think rationally and use common sense was still out of order. she quickly scanned the cave looking for a pink drawstring bag. the first one her eyes landed on was on the other side of the cave. she needed to think of an item that was nereby and the first thing that came to mind was the bundled up jacket she used as a pillow. it would only take a few steps to reach it. she bended down before picking up the jacket and agressivly shaking it as a way to unfold it quickly. she placed the damp fabric on the cave floor then made a make shift bag by holding together the sleeves and botton corners on the jacket. she stood up and felt her heart jump into her chest when she saw an abandoned pill container being washed away. she dashed towards it and was confused when she grabbed it and discovered that it wasn't hers. she didn't know which of the other eves had meds they told nobody else about. she shrugged as she threw the container didn't her 'bag'. she would find out later. before doing anything else she quickly checked her jacket pocket and was relieved when she found the container with her twleve remaining pills. margo didn't know if her new rationed med schedule was doing enough to keep the chemicals in her brain balanced or whatever they were supposed to do but that was a problem for later her. present her needed to totter around the cave tossing whatever she could find into the bag. "fuck me, i'm getting pe flashbacks." she commented to lighten the mood as she regrouped with erin."yeah, that sounds sweet as.", she answered in response to erin's suggestion that they get the black box.
