While I'm not sure exactly what the strings mean, them combined with Pink's new secret dialogue makes me think she could be more relevant than initially expected. Since she is likely going to show up in Castle Town I wonder if we wil get more lore significant dialogue from her.

For starters the Light World sections between 4 and 5 feel very similar.

The bit in Noelle's house flows very well into the festival segment and both have a big focus on Noelle which is good to flesh out her character before presumably becoming a party member again.

The night segments feel pretty similar as well though the chapter 5 one feels a little less melancholic.

The Castle Town sections also feel similar. They both use Funky Town as their theme, they both have optional bosses, and they have the little subplot about Ralsei's room.

Chapter 3 has very similar themes to 5. Tenna and Asgore want things to be as they used to be and make things worse be obsessing over it. They both go for a nostalgic feel and call back to chapter 1.

Both chapters also end in a similar way with the Knight nearly killing a darkner and kidnapping a lightner. Also, Flowery's fate was foreshadowed in chapter 3.

All the chapters have new gimmicks introduced leading to them having similar feeling gameplay. Chapter 3 has minigames and the boards, 4 has the climbing, and 5 has the side scrolling mode.

There is this idea that keeps being brought up in these chapters of darkners that aren't just objects. The old man is a darkner made from a dead lightner, the flowers are living beings, Pink is a lightner and a darkner combined, and I don't even know what the Knight is.

Chapter 5 also feels conclusive in a way. It will presumably have the final egg and shadow crystal. All the call backs to chapter 1 as well as Undertale really reminds me of New Home from Undertale and how that called back to the Ruins. Even the ending references Undertale.

No, I do not think Jevil is harder than the Knight, I played Deltarune chapter 1 before Undertale so he was my first experience with a challenging boss in this style. Now I can easily beat him in only a couple hits but the Knight and Mantle still sometimes kill me if I'm not warmed up.

Some of the chapter 5 ones I'm still not sure about the exact placements of but I doubt my opinions on them could change that much.

It was really hard to decide between Pink and Gerson as my favorite boss. I like how each of them use their respective soul modes and they have good and creative attacks. I like both their characters quite a lot and even though I prefer Pink, Susie is great in Gerson's battle so it evens out.

The only time we meet them when it isn't night is at the start of the Dark Sanctuary but it is still kinda dark out.

This line from Seam at least makes way more sense now but I wonder why the Knight only appears at night. Maybe it's just so that no one sees them but maybe they can only exist in the dark or they are weaker in the light.
