Quick TV show recommendation: if you are at all interested in getting to understand the story of the Bible and the life of Jesus at all, please please please watch The Chosen. You don't have to be a Christian or anything to watch it, it's just super interesting with a really great storyline and acting, and it's 100% free. It's very biblically accurate (with some creative liberties), and is actually very well-made. There is a lot of heart behind the show, and the creators are so excited to see how well the show has done. I believe it's the biggest crowdfunded TV series to date, and I just really love it. ngl i hate recommending aftg to anyone bc idk how to describe it like,,,,so theres this teenager and hes on the run from the yakuza…no its not set in japan theyre in south carolina…uhhh and he plays exy-its this made up sport thats kinda like lacrosse and was invented like 30 years ago by some mafia members? But somehow gained enough traction to be weirdly prevalent in this world….anyways and then the main character gets recruited to this college team thats like known for having wildly traumatized players. but the asst coach is like his childhood friend who was ALSO part of the whole murderous yakuza family but he doesnt recognize him so its fine if he joins the team right? so hes trying to dodge the mafia but also playing lacrosse-hockey-soccer. oh and the yakuza? they play for the rival team yea they have to like sit across from each other at banquets and stuff,,,,,yea so i highly recommend <3
