Ok this has probably been done but what if there was a story were this evil ruler was ya know, ruling and all that (but in a mean way) like cos he’s evil. Then he gets beat by the protagonist and they become the new ruler, and everyone assumes this is fine cos that’s how most stories go. BUT SURPRISE the protagonist is actually the evil ruler and now they are amongst the people after their exile, and they see what the new, supposedly good, ruler is doing and starts to realize the error of their ways and how they (when they were in charge) were wrong to do that. Then they also see the new ruler is secretly evil and bam, REDEMPTION STORY, they gotta save the people and overthrow the ruler all from the ultimate underdog position... I also haven’t posted in a while hot damn

I’m gonna get hate for this and I get the point of it yes, but isn’t this censorship? Like it just feels weird correcting art in this way. Anyway that said the original one is super trash idk how it was deemed ok to print but I still think it’s a bit odd to go around correcting anyone’s art without there permission

if this was someone’s personal art/project that they’re just doing for fun, yeah it’d be a bit shitty, but this guy got paid to do this and he works/worked for a multi-million dollar company so i don’t really think he’s gonna be too bothered by some random 19 year old editing his art to make the characters look like humans and also have fatter butts in spideys case lol

it’s hardly censorship, i didn’t change the size of her boobs or anything, i just edited her pose to fit what i assume the mood for this cover is better. really only reason i changed the neckline of her shirt is because i thought it was weird to have the top of the image on it cut off like that

if this was supposed to be porn or some other kind of sexual/erotic imagery it wouldn’t have been nearly as bad, but since it’s the cover for a comic issue that’s seemingly supposed to be somewhat somber it didn’t feel tonally correct for her to be sitting how she was

I teach my 7th graders about the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide.

I bring in a graduated cylinder of it and we talk about how it’s used in nuclear power plants and gmo crops. How inhaling even the small amount I’m holding can lead to suffocation or even death. It’s found in vaccines and cancer cells, but also in infant formula and pet food. It is a huge component of acid rain, can cause severe burns, and has been found in places that were thought to be the most pristine and unpolluted locations on earth.

We talk about how there are little to no regulations on this chemical. No bans, no warning labels, and most manufacturers don’t even have to disclose their use of it in their products.

My students are outraged. We talk about what we can do. Create posters and flyers to spread awareness. Contact our senators with petitions to ban DHMO. Spread this information all over social media.

Then I explain that the real problem with dihydrogen monoxide is that….when I am thirsty…there is just nothing else as refreshing, and then I watch their looks of absolute shock and horror as I drink the entire vial down.
