Occam’s razor: the simplest solution was usually the best. Daredevil followed Matt around, always in the same place but never at the exact same time, because Matt was Daredevil.

Frank knew that.

They wake to Matt’s phone.

“Audio message from: Karen Page. Play message?”

“Huh?” Matt says eloquently.

Frank clears his throat. “Uh, sure. Yes. Please.” He realizes almost immediately that he’s overstepping, but who knows, maybe it’s urgent. Maybe Karen needs help, even.

Matt smiles at his reflexive politeness and tries to turn his face away, but Frank catches it anyway.

Frank and Matt start running into each other during and after missions and start sleeping together.

Karen suspects that Frank Castle might be alive.

Frank has to decide between the warmth he felt for Karen when they first met and the intimacy he has with Matt now.
