Somewhat good news but also the comments section are, as always, a reminder of how morally bankrupt this vile country is

i dont know if they do or not, but prisons are cruel, horrifying institutions that are in dire need of abolition for many reasons, one of the reasons being how they kill those held within, how in prison you can die of easily-prevented diseases, how any sentence can be a death sentence. the people commenting may not realize this, but it is entirely more likely that they realize it in some way and just do not care.
