Somebody on Reddit shared a delightful experience with Angine de Poitrine in their hometown back in 2023 at a Halloween-themed show with less than 40 people. The hotdog cooking ritual and the piĂąata with a polka-dotted bat are fun details but the absolute highlight of the story is this:
"I spoke with Klek when buying merch, obviously he stayed in character and only spoke in noises. But I was paying cash and he didn't have change, so there was a pause and then "âŚ. I HAVE TO GET SOME CHAAANNGE AT THE BAAAARRR" in his character voice, he had me cracking up so hard. A memorable night."
I would do incomprehensible things to be able to attempt a conversation with these dudes while they were in character. I'd lose it. đ
