i know this is a dead fandom, but after watching this show a far few many times I started to pick up on some things. most of my issues seem to fall on the third season, as it is the weakest out of all three. it just tries to cram way too much story into one season that it becomes hard to follow. my main issue with this season is MAINTENON my god. her entire character was butchered for the sake of what? being bitchy? she makes the latter half of season three insufferable.

the arrows are supposed to be a reference to the arrows of Apollo since they are silver, Louis XIV's godsona was Apollo. they hit his stomach becyof his death relating to kidney stones and he would often complain of severe stomach pain.

the papers are everything Colbert was a part of, and he was in a bit of everything.
