Hiss is a low, threatening whisper. Raw, guttural, vicious. It is NOT a literal hiss like an animal, it is a tone of voice that serves the same function. Someone will hiss that they’re going to cut your throat- a message from one person to the other.

Snarl is the same kind of thing. Not literal, it’s a tone of voice that serves the same function. It’s raw and gutteral like a hiss, but more savage than vicious. It’s loud, it’s showy, it’s intimidating. It’s very alpha male, big man, look at how fucking dangerous I am. I’ll take ALL of you on. Even if they’re snarling at one person in particular, nobody better back them up or they’re gonna get fucked up too.

Shriek. Come on, seriously? We’ve all heard people shriek either in fear or outrage. High pitched, loud, out of control, feminine. Men can shriek, but it’s funny and emasculating. Think angry italian women throwing pots and pans or ladies on tables who just saw a mouse.

One of the universal rights is the right to unionize one's career.

As far as I can tell there's literally nothing stopping sex workers from unionizing or forming a guild in order to protect themselves. Union bosses could even call themselves Madames if they wanna.

In countries where selling sex is only partially criminalized under various legal models, unions often can (and do!) exist, but their power is limited. In the UK we have SWU (Sex Worker's Union) which I am a member of, but our laws make it so that my union can't support me with a huge range of issues because my union rep would be charged as a pimp if they did. Our efforts to organize for better working conditions always have to come second to pushing for full decriminalization.

There are only a few places which have full decriminalization of sex work. In Belgium, there's the sex worker union UTSOPI. Since it's not illegal to do full-service sex work or any surrounding acts there, UTSOPI is able to have much more influence on public policy and is far more empowered to support their workers.

I realize this was a question, but I do wish people wouldn't start making claims that something is a "universal right" (it's not) and suggesting there's nothing stopping us, as if sex workers are simply too stupid to have considered this already. Sex workers are an incredibly engaged group of workers highly prone to becoming class conscious and politically radicalized.

Shen Qingiu (representing both Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu) is in very elaborate clothing which is burnt/dirty at the ends (represent his rags to riches life). He has Poison Ivy (representing his hidden toxicity) growing from his left eye (eye stolen by Luo Bingge). He also has a skeletal left hand (representing Shen Yuan's Without-A-Cure but also to represent Shen Jiu's current death in the SVSSS timeline.)

The Immortal Jellyfish behind him represents his cultivated immortally essentially being useless in the grand scheme of things. Jellyfish are immortal but have no thoughts, feelings, or ways to use that immortality.

The "Black" Butterfly (If I had rendered it out it would have been much darker HA) represents death and freedom. Shen Qingqiu's only freedom will be via death.

The big-ass dragon in the background represents Luo Binghe/Bingge as it is a immortal ferocious creature that can devour anything. It holds a pocket watch to represent how Luo Binghe's return to Shen Qingqiu is imminent.

The Barn Owl Shen Yuan represents how Shen Jiu will gain freedom as well as how he will die. Shen Yuan takes over Shen Jiu and Shen Jiu (according to the new stuff from MXTX- I think? maybe? IDK-!) Shen Jiu gets to live a happy life in the modern world?? maybe?? idk that's what I'm trying to convey at least.

On Shen Qingqiu's lap is a Ouroboros Snake slowly consuming it's self representing how the SVSSS/PIDW cycle will continue all over again with Shen Qingqiu at the center of it all.
