UPDATE.

The situation at “home” has escalated and I am no longer safe or welcome here. I have been tasked with finding my own place to live in the meantime. Obviously the bills will be much higher and take a larger percent of my wages away, which means my departure to Australia is probably going to be delayed.

I am completely overwhelmed by your generosity: I have already raised £100 of my £1000 goal. With these new developments, there is a chance I may have to raise the goal amount, but I’m going to leave it as it is for now.

UPDATE 2.

I have managed to find a room in a house share that I am able to rent from July until I leave for Sydney around October/November time.

All of the money that has been donated so far (an incredible £505/£1000, thank you SO much!!) will be saved so that it can be used on my flights/visa/etc. Rent and other expenses will mostly be coming out of my wages.

Again, I am so very grateful to everyone that has donated. In the near future I will hopefully be able to offer home-made cross stitch stickers as an incentive for donors (and these can be claimed if you have already donated, too!!) just as a little thank you for being so kind. ♥
