Smoking does not make the cut
The cigarette is the smoker. You just have a weird thing where you allow a smoker to sit at your lips, and take what they offer.
Maybe because you think you're not much, and that matches with the idea of having a smoker on your mouth. Impeding a great channel you have for self expression and self development.
You are barred by a smoker. Maybe you think that fits with the idea that you have of who you are.
Maybe you feel like you're nasty and sometimes disgusting. And hanging out with the smoker helps the anxiety by confirming that yeah, you are all that.
Next time you pick up a smoker, say it out loud.
I'm gonna be a smoker now. Do it every time. Out loud.
You'll come to face a space where youll start to see that being a smoker and being you are not synonyms. It's just that you are picking up a cigarette. And the cigarette is doing it's thing, really next to you.
Maybe if you this for a while, that space will get bigger and bigger.
The cigarette, aka the smoker, will not take as much space as it did. And maybe you'll just pitty it, or yourself. Cause the truth is that you've gave each other company.
And in some new, weird way - in that space that is now bigger than it was, it's not that you feel less alone. It might be that being that kind of alone isn't that bad anymore. And if you have the skill to invite entities in, just like you did with the smoker, then you can invite others in. Whoever you like.
Because you are the space, not what's in it. Those are just extra bonus.
Decorate and invite as you wish. The room can only get bigger.
