I'm flyingredbird, but I also go by Redbird :)

I mainly post burnsmithers stuff, along with the occasional fic or fan art. I've also gotten into making blinkies recently, and if you have a request for one I'll happily make it!

I’m also on Ao3, Pinterest, Discord, and Neocities if you want to say hi to me there! (and I'm cool with dm's if we've interacted before, but if not I'll probably ignore you)

My other interests are Nintendo/Wii, crochet, geography, and especially birds ❤️

anybody know if they made official figurines of these? because I feel like it would be a great opportunity (and I would totally buy them)

(sidenote this is genuinely like in my Top Ten Simpsons jokes. why does Burns have figurines of his dead self and a diorama of his grave. why is Smithers posed like That. Burns literally had to commission someone to custom make this 💀)

i dont think this exact thing was ever made but, the vampire burns figure comes with a coffin you can put him in which i really like 👀

theres ANOTHER less common vampire mr b also with a coffin, which i didnt even know of until now. AND it comes with zombie smithers, thats the loveliest thing.

Can you imagine? Smithers does not come out to Burns at all, but the residents of Springfield just assume Smithers and Burns married long ago. Like out of their presence people will mutter things.

Then the suggestions become even more intense:

*tents fingers*

Well then, I am up for a bit of revenge! Loophole make your presence.

Blue-Haired Lawyer: Well, now under jurisdiction you can apply for a partnership benefit with your significant other.

Burns narrows his eyes: We squabble over this every quarter! I keep telling you I’m NOT married.

Blue-Haired Lawyer: *pinches bridge of nose and sighs* Mr. Burns, it’s absolutely acceptable in –

Burns: I pay you to point out loopholes, to spin doctor and to lawyer, not to yarn my biographies! I do that for Stephen King and he’s been slacking.

Blue-Haired Lawyer: Your loss.

And then one day, in the most obscure way, Burns figures it out. They walk into the Gilded Truffle. Smithers talks to the maitre d’ and he responds “I have always given our best customers a cut on their anniversary.” Burns shrugs it off until the end of the meal when the waiter finally for the first time stops asking for separate cheques.

And then.
