Vakama’s Sassy Hips

I have a bit of a pet theory that Brutaka's species was placed in the GSR as a sort of dual failsafe and backup for the Makuta species. The idea is that their ability to absorb Antidermis and gain power and knowledge from it was intended to allow them to consume the Makuta should they fail to do their duty, and then take their place as Rahi makers and knowledge keepers. Brutaka's "enlightened" state after his little Antidermis bath is pretty much what I figure that would look like.

Toa Hagah Disks

Black disks are resin casts from Constraction Deva.

Norik and Iruini's emblems were originally designed by KingSidorak, while I did the rest of the team. (Uploaded here if you'd like to make your own disks)

Foil decals are from TwistedBaublez.

NGL, these ended up being pretty rough. Had to use a bit of Photoshop to make them presentable. The foil decals are fragile, and I had a hard time getting them to stick onto the concave surface of the disk. This will probably be a project I reattempt in the future. 🫠

People kept asking how I did the shoulders on my Nidhiki, so here you go.

Used a rubber tire to add friction to the left arm. Did the same thing at the back of the gearbox to give friction to his weapon arm.

You'll notice I used a bootleg piece. You can just swap it out for part #22961. It'll work just fine. 👍

You can plug part #85940 into his back for weapon storage.

Tuyet, Toa Mangai of Water.

Mask of Intangibility modeled by Galva, printed+painted by Buryu. Medium blue eyestalk from Constraction Deva. Sword is a resin cast from Ziontyro. Gunmetal Avohkiis can be picked up from Ziontyro (US), Buryu (Canada), or Kennie (China). Chima crystal and thigh covers are official pieces stained with iDye Poly. Used cut flex tubes to attach the shoulder armor.

To differentiate these from the batch I made for the Toa Metru, I thought it would be fun if these disks matched their respective toa's eye color. :)
