I love the worldbuilding in the original He-Man, or rather the total lack of it. They go in the woods and there’s a weird monster and they’re like “oh no a Shriekbeast” and you get zero information about it. A possum man* shows up and says “I am Denvor, an emissary from Vurgia” and they’re like “ah yes, this way to meet the king”, no explanation for who that is or where or the relations between the two countries. What the hell is this thing

* made up example because they’re usually so casual about it I can’t even think of a real one
