ILTV is genuinely such peak 🙏🥹 played it last night and could not get enough of it, immediately went for every ending I could. Trying now to get the ending with all three of them but my god this game was perfect. So so cute and so so funny. I kept giggling aloud and pointing and squealing at the spritework. Your art is incredibly pleasing and every single character interpretation was so adorable. I also loved the flashback segments as well, you did an excellent job portraying Spamtenna as what it most likely was— two extremely unstable individuals who got a little too close to each other. Your characterization for each of them was fantastic, especially Tenna. The way he speaks about his whole cycle of self-hating and then feeling selfish FOR that self-hating and NEEDING to punish himself again lest he forget the damage he’s caused… painfully real. It was so nice to just give each of them the hug they needed (well, maybe Spamton wasn’t the biggest fan of his hug, but still). You really caught me off-guard with some of the more realistic dynamics, like the way Tenna talks about needing to work on himself before getting into a committed relationship. That being said, I did blush like a shoujo protagonist upon reaching the illustration of him up close reaching toward the screen… I’m a simple woman, I know. Anything to have my blorbo cutes-ily imprison me in a vaguely romantic but also nonsexual context demanding praise and validation and mentioning “keeping me safe.” Swoon. Thank god when I crush on a manipulator it’s a fictional one, I would NOT be able to resist that shit irl. Also your Gaster was adorable. Just gotta say.
ANYWAY this is probably WAYYY too long already but I just had to dump all my thoughts here, absolutely excellent game. The dating mechanics are so fun and the writing is shockingly profound. Beyond happy with it and looking forward to what you make in the future!

I love writing from more like, realistic experiences I've witnessed or my own personal experiences, and this game is built off of a LOT of personal experiences lol. When I was doing research into Tenna's character, I found myself hitting a roadblock in understanding him without looking into Spamton, so I ended up doing that... and in doing so, found their situation seemed so very similar to a lot of fallouts I have witnessed happen in my life-- people who genuinely cared for each other and then that care falling completely flat when they struggled to communicate with one another.
I'd also not seen many dating sims before that are about moving on from past relationships and the difficulties that come with that, so I kinda wanted to dig into that subject as well. This, and I wanted it to be like, "implied slow burn" for lack of a better explanation LMAO where that although it has a sort of standard-dating-sim thing where the characters date you up front, they don't wanna make a full commitment to it until getting to know you for a while. Especially since that tied into their already-complicated relationship history. Not that they aren't interested, they just have a lot of other messy stuff going on. I just think everything not being fixed immediately, but its obvious they still wanna grow and change, has a bit more story value to me, personally.
Also, I love that you enjoyed Tenna being possessive ehehe. I love writing him just being a little too creepy without totally realizing it... It honestly lowkey freaked me out to playtest that segment the first time, just to see the lineup of the sprites and dialogue i had written, and that's when i knew i had nailed it LMAO he's a little scary, but I love that about him.... 💖
