Late Halloween post, but better than never :O

this is probably my most current project that im working on, and that's gijinka's of the periodic table of elements!

i am. not doing all of them, lol, that'd kill me, but i am doing 39 that i've selected based mostly on the question, "did i know what this was before entering high school chemistry"

one day, the sweetest looking baby was left upon the doorstep of an unsuspecting couple. her hair, the color of peaches, her skin, as pale as paper. however, what really struck them was her face. her eyes stared straight through their souls, and her mouth was no where to be found.

having no other choice, the two took her in, raising her as their own. she was not like the other monsters at her school. no, she was definitely not even like anyone around her at all. but still, she was quiet, had good grades, and did what was told of her.

since she had turned 6, she had started to frequently throw up weeds and flower petals. at first, she was chastised for chewing the plants in the garden, but as it continued, her parents grew worried and took her to the doctor. it had been a genetic illness, stemming from her original birth parents.

the illness had been maintained through medication since then. however, once she entered high school, it seemed to worsen all of a sudden. she was urged by her parents to get more treatment, through more medication, or possibly even surgery; however, she did not seem perturbed by her illness at all.

everyday, she would come home late from school. she told her parents that she had joined a club at her school, but if one looked closely (but not too close), they would find her in the neighborhood opposite of her own, watching a young monster shoot hoops in her front yard. what interest could she hold in this girl?
