Beautiful, isn't it?!! Finally, I have art that depicts Cael with the satchel he's carrying that I usually conveniently omit! That's how he wears the satchel for reference, I don't know how my artist understood such an undescribable contraption... It's wonderful!

The image itself is so nice!! I made an adjustment myself but it's not that big. Ashen is so cute here bruh, js look at him hugging Cael excitedly!! I'm surprised they also managed to work out this pose since Darkrai has a really stupid body shape which I hate because it makes it so hard to understand how its body could interact with something humanoid like Arma... or maybe my understanding of art is insanely flawed so yeah!! You can disregard that!

Credits belong to @k-emess !! They were very lovely to talk with and work INSANELY fast like genuinely. I can't comprehend it since my newest art took 15 hours and it's js a simple roblox character 🥹🥹

So glad I finally got this done. It's been a weak since the anniversary/Ashen's birthday took place. I'm so sorry - I was really swamped, heheh...

Yes I am aware of that weird white dot on Cael's sprites and I sincerely apologize for that!! I didn't notice while editing so I thought it was gone but turns out it still is... And I was just too lazy to fix it. Another thing I was too lazy to fix is the lack of soundtrack. Originally I planned to insert "Scheming Weasel" by Kevin MacLeod but I also forgot :(

This thing took so much time, man. Like, about eight hours on the editing itself, I believe? Also, the video is also longer than I wanted it to be...

I'm a little disappointed I got no questions... I guess the fanbase isn't existent yet but that's fine. I could only think of random questions there. Thanks to @wiselychosennamesstuff for reblogging my news post though!

The art is mine and I didn't really trace over references this time so I'm very proud for that. (Btw this took 5 hours 45 minutes smh)

Dang, almost a year has passed since I posted my chapter huh? Time does fly, hah.

Anyway, I have a li'l announcement! As you may know, this fic's first anniversary is coming up (April 23), and it'll also be Ashen's birthday! To celebrate, I'll be making a QnA video with Ashen and Cael that I'll post here and (probably) YouTube. Yes, it'll have some art!! Hopefully I'll get it out on time :]

I'd honestly like to see more questions for Ashen since he's the birthday boy but I'm not forcing you! And in fact you can ask any of my fic's characters lol

Here's a drawing of Darkrai (Cael) I made for my fic. Took about... 11.5 hours—which still isn't nearly as bad as another recent artwork of mine that took 19 hours and 45 minutes... insane. How do I have this much time? This might be the secret to my perceived lack of time. ;-; (does this count as fanart if I'm the writer...?)

I'm pretty satisfied with the lighting (thanks to my friends for the tips!!). I just... did a rim light since I didn't know what else to do with the amount of lights there. Though, the lights, ironically, are the thing I'm specifically dissatisfied with. I could've done better there XP
