Raise those who are down instead of tearing down those who you cannot stand

Imagine new hearts beating in our broken chests heartbreak tearing them

You pierce these shadows I chose to cloak myself in Take your light and leave

Made myself a cup to wash away bitter days and drown out sorrow

You can’t tame my fire these scales are its only cage Dare to set it free

In some harsh moments there's so little you can do but breathing stale air.

A speck of color A whisp of perfume flying How faint your love is.

It's quite a challenge to achieve perfect stillness in a whirlwind world.

Mother Nature's veil the symbol of all that's young and yet to grow strong.

Feathers draped in ink the colors of night it wears A wild messenger.

Sweetness fills my lungs when winter starts to fade and spring finally wakes.

Water rises still forming shapes not seen or heard in ages before.

Sometimes my blues fade into happier shades, yet they don't seem to stick.

Hidden through ages a bloody trail left behind Immortal darkness.

Swimming in her tears are the memories of hate she's trying to shed.

I journeyed below all the way to hell and back to retrieve what's mine.

A cornflower's blue dotting the wild waving fields basking in the sun.
