I, for one, happen to think the sixth Doctor is angelically pretty, and although I like Peri what the hell was her problem?? "My outward appearance is of no importance whatsoever."/ "Well, it is to me. I have to live with it." <-No, you dont??? HE has to live with it, not you! Can you go easy on him please he just DIED!
Counterpoint this is exactly what makes The Twin Dilemma one of my favorites. Peri starts out rejecting and antagonistic towards Sixie far before he gives her any reason to aside from just being a bit abrasive and egotistical as he is. It's only after she continues to insult him and genuinely hurts his feelings that he starts to hit back. It's far from perfect (the strangling scene is probably a bit much, though I think people are harsher than necessary on it. also the main plot is just kinda boring) but I think it starts 6+Peri off on a really interesting dynamic that it generally handles really well.
