_l i l y . l o l l i e s_ I fell in love with Water Lilies up in #Kakadu #NationalPark #ntAustralia Such a gorgeous plant and the colours on the Billabongs and flood plains look amazing. Everyone on the cruise are on one side of the boat taking shots of Crocodiles and I'm on the other trying to get pretty Lily pics. This is the Pink or Lotus Water Lily and they are a great source of Bush Tucker food. The seed pods can be cracked open and the seeds eaten raw. Younger leaves can be eaten raw or cooked as can the roots. @ausoutbacknt @australia (at Kakadu National Park)

_d e a r . k a t h e r i n e_ How I love the reflected beauty of Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk #NationalPark #ntAustralia Such a surreal experience gliding up this ancient Sandstone Gorge carved by the Katherine River. Nitmiluk means "place of the Cicada Dreaming" and is the home of the local Jawoyn People who are the custodians of this National Park. @ausoutbacknt @australia

_a z u r e . k i n g f i s h e r_ A tiny Azure Kingfisher spotted on the Sunrise cruise at Yellow Waters Billabong in #NorthernTerritory #Kakadu #NationalPark #ntaustralia I was so excited to capture this tiny little guy as they flit and dart about so quickly! He would fit in the palm of your hand! If you're a bird freak you would love it, as we spotted 65 different species here in 2 hours! Yes we had a bird man on board counting ha ha!
