Coiny has a serious problem with not trusting anyone about his feelings (or something like that, it's impossible to be sure since, as I said before, his arc isn't finished, so we don't know why he does this or if he even knows why he does it). This means that when he finally talks about his feelings, it will be because of something VERY BAD, or something like that; it will be the most important moment of his life because it will be the moment he understands that he can tell others how he feels and there's nothing wrong with that

So, to create an off-screen scene about something so important to a character is TERRIBLE AND POORLY WRITTEN

So no, just because he didn't get focus in BFDIA 22 doesn't mean he deserved to be eliminated. He's a deep character and there's still a lot to explore about him WITH or WITHOUT pin
