yvie: hey đ
yvie: do you wanna come over tonight?
yvie: ollie's gone and i have a bottle waiting to be opened
maisy: hi!
maisy: that definitely sounds like a good plan, i'm down!
maisy: what bottle do you have for me this time around? :)
asherfrazierâ:
asher let out a deep sigh, shaking his head in disappointment. âiâm sorry, maise. i didnât mean it like that. do you need a hug?â with his lips pressed into a sheepish smile, he opened up his arms in an inviting manner. he knew she was probably going to decline it, but it was worth a try. his arms dropped as she went on to answer his pleas, leaning back against the headboard, dark orbs looking at her expectantly. âit does matter, maisy. i donât know how to talk to him about this shit. what if i just end up being redundant? i donât want to see desperate, thatâs not who i am.â asher could feel himself being at the cross roads as he continued to go back and forth with himself in regards to the situation, a conflict amongst himself that he just couldnât seem to shake.
ânot every single one has turned into a dumpster fire.â asher was quick to point out. âwhat about that mariana girl? she was cute, and seems like a fun time. have you spoken to her recently?â he asked. this was his way of saying i care about you to his sister. maisy was a good soul, despite how much she thrived off torturing him, butâŠthat was sort of her job as a sibling. at the end of the day, he just wanted to see her happy. âwhat could you possibly have to do on a friday night? iâm sure it can wait until tomorrow, or sundayâŠâ his words trailed off, leaning over and playfully nudging the others arm. âcome on! when was the last time we went out together? itâll be fun!â
đ
rolling her eyes when asher offered him a hug, maisy shook her head and looked away from her brother. âi donât need a hug, asher, be quiet. plus, i know youâre not a hugger, so i donât know whatâs going on right now.â she said, frowning as she heard him talking about joey. she knew how important this was to her brother, so maybe talking to joey hadnât been the brightest idea maisy had, but it seemed right at the time. letting out a sigh, she just shrugged her shoulders. âwhen did you learn all of these big words? are you reading more? and i donât think you would seem desperate for chasing after someone you really like... because letâs be honest, i can see it in your eyes that you still like joey and i donât think thatâs going to change.â she said, pausing for a few seconds to gather her thoughts and then nodding her head. âi just think you donât want to say it out loud because youâre afraid that youâre the one whoâs going to be hurt again. thatâs it.â she said, deciding to share some of her wisdom with her brother before shrugging off her shoulders.
âmost of them have turned into a dumpster fire.â she stated, before letting out a sigh. âwe talk sometimes, but weâre just friends now. we tried to make it work but it just didnât... at least it was a better way to end a relationship than i did with cĂ©line. i still havenât fixed that and i donât plan on it.â she said with a small shrug, convincing herself that she would probably better off on her own than with someone else. rolling her eyes as her brother kept trying to conving her on going out, she let out a sigh as she finally caved in. âfine, i can go out for one drink and one drink only. donât try and be my wingman, because itâs not going to work, asher. i mean that.â she said with a small nod.
nolanmatthewsâ:
âBut books can be sooooo long, and I am a slow reader.â He pouted, âI know books are almost always superior but if I like the movie then I know I gotta read the book.â Nolan chuckled, âSometimes bad movies are good though, in my opinion, I like to think I can see the good in all films.â He jokingly patted himself on the shoulder, âWell if this trial book is good, let me know, give me a summary and Iâll consider reading it.â Nolan smiled, taking in the sun and the company Maisy brought, but his head turned when he heard Maisyâs question. It completely caught him off guard, but he didnât mind being honest and vulnerable with Maisy. âHmmm.â He hummed, âI think sometimes, but I know itâs a me problem, personally.â Nolan nodded, âWhen Iâm around people I know and love, I feel like I can be myself and goofy but around others, I wonât lie I get nervous and sometimes a bit anxious.â Nolan shrugged his shoulders, âI donât ever wanna make a fool of myself or come off too strong. So, sometimes I just find it easier to hang out with my little group or by myself.â Nolan loved meeting new people, and he liked hanging out with others but sometimes it could be a little exhausting. âWhat about you?âÂ
đ
maisy couldnât help but to chuckle at nolanâs reaction, saying that books could be so long. he was right, but that hadnât stopped maisy before, but she had been reading ever since she could remember and if she could, she would finish a book in twenty-four hours at ease. âi mean, i think thatâs a good plan maybe... at least you get interest in the book if you see the movie, so... not a bad plan.â she said with a small shrug, as she thought it was better that at least nolan wanted to read the books after watching the movie. âsometimes bad movies are entertaining.â she agreed with a small nod, as she turned to look up at the sky for a couple of moments and letting out a sigh as she heard nolan talk. she had brought that conversation up herself, but she couldnât help but wonder if she shouldnât. âi didnât mean lonely like that, nolan... i mean, we both have friends and we have our group of people we trust, but i donât know.â she said with a sigh. âi just feel like everyoneâs getting into a relationship lately or finding people who to share moments with. and i know i donât need someone to do that, but... iâm just wondering, you know? maybe it feels good to have someone by your side sometimes.â she said as she let out a small sigh and shaking her head. âsometimes itâs hard not to feel lonely, you know?â she asked, as she looked over at nolan.
tilly-lindemanâ:
Tilly hadnât actually recognised Maisy off the bat. She almost felt guilty that it took her a few moments to make the connection but at the same time, it had been a couple years since they last saw each other. âOh wow, yeah it has been a while. Iâm doing good, how are you, Maisy?â She asked in return. âAnd for the record, no one should ever need a partner to do things.â She told her in agreement to her first statement now that she wasnât spending time working out where she recognised her from.
đ
new york was a big place and there were a lot of people there. and while maisy lived there, she had met tons of people who had come and gone, and tilly had turned out to be one of them. and ever since maisy had left new york that she hadnât seen her, but it was nice to see her again. âiâm pretty good! you know, iâm just trying to keep busy. this seemed like a good option.â she said with a small smile, as she looked over at the ferris wheel and shrugging her shoulders slightly, before she turned to look at her. âyouâre absolutely right, tilly, no one should need a partner for these things. itâs good to do them alone too. but you can be my partner for now.â she joked, letting out a small chuckle as she nudged the otherâs shoulder slightly. âi didnât know you studied at evergreen... what are you studying? what have you been up to?â she asked, a smile on her face.

nolanmatthewsâ:
Nolans eyes widened a bit when she mentioned she had the book, but of course she did, it was Maisy. âIâd love that.â He nodded, trying to think about the annotations she may have written in the book, in his head he imagined that seeing her notes on it would make it a hundred times better. She knew what she was talking about. âThat kind of sounds gruesome, but I am here for the challenge. Then we can talk about it!â Nolan had been thinking about how maybe staring at a book would be a little bit better than analyzing and staring at a screen most of the day, but sometimes it was for his classes so he had an excuse for that. âThe Trial by Kafka?â He raised his eyebrow, shaking his head, âI donât think Iâve ever heard of that, is it any good? Is there a movie about it or anything?â Now that may have been a dumb question, he had no idea, but these days in Nolanâs eyes, it seemed that Hollywood was focused on making movies from books, remakes, or superhero movies - which he wasnât angry about - just an observation.Â
đ
maisy didnât mind borrowing her books to people who wanted to read them, but she didnât like that people ruined them. she knew that nolan wouldnât, but she had to be certain. âyes, yes, itâs very gruesome. but iâm sure youâll like it too... at least i know i did.â she said with a small nod, reminding herself that she needed to look through her shelves when she got to her room. she was sure it would take her some time to find it, but either way, she was going to give it to nolan next time they were together. âi think thereâs probably a movie... i like the book, i think itâs a good one. but from what iâve heard from the movie, itâs really not good. and you should always read the books first, itâs like iâve taught you nothing, nolan.â she said, a small chuckle escaping from her lips as she shook her head, acting like she was disappointed with the other when she actually wasnât. âbut i canât borrow you this one, iâm pretty sure that iâll need it for the next couple of weeks, but i can tell you about it once iâm done reading it. iâm almost through with it anyway.â she said with a small sigh. âdo you ever feel lonely?â she asked, completely changed the direction of the conversation.
asherfrazierâ:
âi canât believe that while iâm in such a fragile stateâŠyou still feel the need to be a bitch to me.â asher scoffed, rolling his eyes at his beloved sister as he shook his head. she was right though, he was being dumb, and he knew it. he would just never admit that, at least not in his right mind. âexactly. me not talking to him about it is exactly why you should tell me. please, maise?â just knowing that joey spoke to her about the situation alone was enough to drive the man mad. while he didnât mind the friendship that the two have formed, it only made asher just that much more curious.
asher adored his sister â at least as much as a sibling can adore another menace â so he worried about her at times. âi think youâre lonely, maisy.â he said in a dramatic, yet empathetic tone, lips pressed into a sheepish line as he broke the news to her. âhave you been having fun at least?â he questioned, now leaning back against the headboard of his bed, hands folded professional and resting gently on his stomach. âwe should go out tonight!â
đ
maisy rolled her eyes at asher, before punching him in the arm yet again. it was an old habit of hers, but asher probably didnât enjoy it as much as she did. âdonât call me a bitch! iâm still older than you, have some respect.â maisy said, shaking her head slowly as she looked at asher as he practically begged her to tell him what she had talked with joey. letting out a sigh, maisy rolled her eyes. âokay, i lied. he didnât come and talk to me. i was the one who talked with him first. and i didnât say anything that bad, i just said you were truly sorry for everything that you had done in the past and then we went for a walk. he said he missed you but then he got distracted with something else... it doesnât matter.â maisy said simply, shrugging her shoulders slightly as she watched her brother talk again.
once asher mentioned that he thought she was lonely, maisy let out a sigh and shook her head. there were definitely times where she felt lonely, but she tried not to think about it that much. it was probably for the best that way. âiâm not lonely, asher. like i said, iâm fine. and clearly, maybe iâm not meant for relationships since every single one iâve had has turned into a dumpster fire. iâm good.â she said with a sigh, raising an eyebrow at the other. âgo out? i have stuff to do. you can go out if you want though.â she said, shrugging her shoulders again.
asherfrazierâ:
âiâŠwill not be talking to him. at least not about this, not again.â asher stated simply, almost stubbornly. âand this stays between us. whatâs said in this room will die in this room, okay?â he was in no place to be making demands, especially right now. although he knew that what was typically said between the two was normally safe. that was the beauty of such a sacred bond that came with sibling-hood. his eyes shot up to meet his sisters gaze, dark orbs eager but also filled with the least bit of anxiety. âwhat did he tell you?â he asked, almost pleading for her to spill about the conversation. it was actually a bit pathetic how much of a puppy dog he became from just conversing about the other male. he really needed to get a grip. his shoulders relaxed as she began talking about herself. he couldnât have been more grateful to divert the conversation away from him and his messy love life. âthereâs gotta be more to it. are you seeing anyone?â
đ
rolling her eyes slightly at asher, maisy shook her head slowly as she let out a sigh. âyou really are an idiot, arenât you? but you know what, iâm not going to force you to talk to him about it, i just think itâs dumb. doesnât surprise me coming from you though.â maisy said, again shaking her head and crossing her arms as she looked at her brother. at the question, maisy raised an eyebrow at asher and shrugged her shoulders. âwhy should i tell you? youâre not going to talk to him about it, apparently. i donât think iâll tell you, it was between the two of us.â she said, almost as stubborn as her brother. she had to learn it from somewhere. as the conversation switched to talk about her, maisy sighed - she didnât like to talk about her that much, she was much more interested in knowing what was going on in other peopleâs lives, especially when her life wasnât as interesting. âthereâs really not, ash. and no, i havenât been seeing anyone and itâs not like iâm really looking. i like being single, it gives me more freedom to do whatever i want.â she said with a small shrug.
nolanmatthewsâ:
Nolan couldnât help but chuckle at Maisyâs response to the situation. âYeah, Yeah, it is literally like a scene out of a show. Unbelievable.â Nolan shook his head, happy he could get that off his chest to someone he trusted, he had his own feelings about the whole situation but since it really wasnât about him it wasnât too important. âThank god, I donât know what Iâd do if I was involved in that much drama, honestly.â He shrugged his shoulders, not that it wouldnât be at least a little fun to be involved in some drama, but at the same time, drama brought pain and left people feeling upset, not worth it. Nolan reached his hand into his backpack, pulling out a pair of sunglasses to block out how bright the sun was getting. âAnywaysâŠâ He trailed on, âAny good books youâre reading right now?â Nolan turned his head back towards Maisy, a smile on his face. âReading older literature is so difficult, but I kinda wanted to read A Clock Work Orange because, well the movie as horrific as it was I wonder if the book will be as good and weird.â He chuckled, âBut I am kind of afraid I wonât enjoy or understand the old writing. What do you think? I should probably just read it, eh? Expand my brain?âÂ
đ
maisy and nolan werenât the type of people to get involved in that type of drama, maisy thought. looking back on their life, the only trouble they seemed to get was futile, mostly because it consisted on throwing snowballs to people. but it didnât matter, maisy liked it that way either way and she was going to enjoy it. âi donât know what i would do in that type of situation, but knowing me and my temper, i know that it probably wouldnât last more than five minutes before i freaked out and tried to fix everything. thatâs what i do.â he said with a small chuckle, her eyebrows raising when nolan asked for book suggestions, letting out a small chuckle. âi have a copy of that if you want, i can borrow it to you. but it has tons of annotations, and if you ruin it, i will hunt you down. but yes, the book is as horrific as the movie. iâd say even worse because of the details in the book. but itâs a good one.â she said with a small nod of her head, letting out a small chuckle. âiâve just been reading the trial by kafka... itâs a pretty short book, but itâs an interesting one. iâm analyzing it for one of the classes i have, but itâs good so far.â she said with a small nod, not wanting to start ranting about her favorite books and all the books she had read, or she would surely stay there for hours.
asherfrazierâ:
âyouâre right, i donât want to hurt him again.â asher sheepishly admitted. hurting joey once was already bad enough; if he managed to do it for a second time, which wouldnât be unlike himâŠwell, he didnât think he would ever forgive himself. asher continued to listen to his sister speak, heading leaning back against the headboard as he found himself getting trapped in his thoughts. a stressed sigh was released from him. it might not have meant anything to you⊠but that was just the thing. it actually did mean something to him, so much so that he hadnât been able to think much of anything else since. joey had always meant everything to him. but he wasnât going to say that now. âi donât knowâŠheâs moved on, even i know that.â he mumbled, shaking his head at the thought. âit shouldnât have happened, but enough about meâŠwhat have you been up to?â
đ
maisy looked over at her brother when he mentioned that he didnât want to hurt joey again, and maisy felt relieved. it was the bare minimum, but it was nice to hear those words coming from her brother - it was like she was somewhat proud of him for just saying that. âgood. then talk to him... heâll appreciate it, i know he will. you just canât leave him in the dark when it comes to these things.â she said with a small nod, shaking her head slowly when asher mentioned that joey had moved on. âoh câmon, he slept with a bunch of guys, that does not mean he moved on. plus, he came to talk to me after superbowl and by the look on his face, it didnât seem like he had really moved on. but you didnât hear this from me.â she said with a small smile, as she leaned back against the wall and looked over at asher once he asked her what she was up to. shrugging her shoulders, she sighed. ânothing interesting, really. just writing and studying lately. my life hasnât been that interesting as yours, trust me. if anything happens iâll let you know.â she said with a small chuckle.

Where: a fair in town Who: anyone & everyone @egustartersâ
The second Mathilde heard there was a small fair in town, she knew she had to go. It was something she could do by herself and hey, maybe sheâd meet some new people while she was out. She found herself in line for the ferris wheel and as people got on, she ended up at the front of line with someone next to them. The worker indicated how theyâd be sharing, making her look at the person next to her. âThatâs okay with me unless youâre here with someoneâŠâ She did glance behind her to make sure they werenât with a partner or something, if they were she would have taken a step back for them to get on together.Â
maisy liked spending time on her own - she also liked spending time with people, but she found that whenever she needed her inspiration for her stories, she liked to be alone and take a walk. this time she had found herself at a fair in town, and somehow had ended up in the line for the ferris wheel. she was waiting for her turn when she heard someone speaking and when she turned her head, she spotted tilly, which made her smile. âitâs fine by me too. and iâm alone too, donât worry about it. who needs a partner?â she asked, shrugging her shoulders with a smile. âhow have you been, t? i feel like i havenât seen you in ages.â she greeted the other, as they got ready to get on the ferris wheel.
It was a well known fact that Calliope and her step-siblings didnât get along. So when one of her step-siblings got engaged and was using Callieâs dadâs money to pay for the party boat to celebrate, it was fair to say Callie was annoyed. She was told she had to be there by her dad but that didnât mean she had to enjoy watching the chaos. Sheâd been sat on one of the chairs when she noticed a familiar face off to the side which prompted her to go over. âWell, well, well, who do you know? The bride or groom to be?â She leaned against the railing, looking to them. @egustartersâ
maisy had no idea how she had ended over in a party boat but she was definitely starting to regret it. at least there was some food she could eat, have some drinks, but engagement parties wasnât her thing - and it was just her first one. were people really getting engaged at this age? was she behind? she was lost in her thoughts when she heard a voice coming from the side, which made her turn her head and smile at the question. âthe bride...â she said - she had known her from her first year at evergreen, and while they didnât talk that much, she still met with her occasionally. at least she had been kind of enough to invite her to this, she thought. âyou know, i donât think iâll get married. iâm fine on my own.â she said, spilling her mind to callie. âi think itâs because i romanticize things too much. things are never like they are in the books, right?â she asked, letting out a sigh.
