5 Things To Remember About Being Single
1. Youâre not alone - youâre in a relationship with yourself. The relationship we have with ourselves is the relationship we will have with others. When we use this time to do what makes us happy we change our vibration and align it with what we love - which attracts the people, places and things we resonate with. Being âsingleâ is a beautiful thing because it allows us to focus on creating happiness for ourselves rather than relying on anyone else to do so for us.
2. Take time to be with yourself - listen to your self-talk & emotions. The reality we experience is based on the dominant thoughts in our minds - if weâre constantly surrounded by others itâs a lot harder to observe & assess our thoughts and adjust if necessary. Making time to be present with ourselves, such as in meditations, allows us the reflection time necessary to observe where weâre heading based on where weâve been.
3. Adjust your vibration - who & what are you attracting? Time outside of relationships can allow us to reflect on what weâve experienced in the past and what weâd like to have in the future. Instead of blaming others we can adjust our own vibrations to attract better in the future - this can only be done once weâve taken responsibility for what weâve attracted in the past.
4. What kind of relationship are you looking for? - become that which you seek. This is a great time in our lives to assess what kind of relationship weâre looking for and how we can nurture the one we have with ourselves to attract it into our lives. If we are looking for someone who shares our interests, itâs important to spend time doing what we enjoy to attract those of a similar vibrational nature.
5. Time to cleanse - self-love heals wounds of the past. When we come out of relationships itâs important to take time to cleanse ourselves before we move into another one. This is why being single can be a beautiful time in our lives where we learn to be at peace with ourselves - rather than constantly feeling like we need to be in a relationship to feel loved.
Being âsingleâ is not something to be ashamed of, itâs a necessary time in our lives to reflect on what weâve experienced and decide what we want in the future. Constantly moving from one relationship to the next is the way we neglect the relationship we have with ourselves which can only lead to resentment.
Nurture the relationship you have with yourself.

5 Recovery Tips to Healing Emotionally :)
Emotional healing is just as important as taking care of a cut. What do you do when you cut yourself? You rinse it, you put hydrogen peroxide on it, then Neosporin ,then you put a bandaid on it (bonus for a cute one), and then you leave it alone. Same for emotional healing.Â
-Let go of rejection. Rejection actually activates the same pathways in your brain as physical pain, which is one reason why it hurts so much. The reason we hate rejection is because we crave to âbelongâ. Sooner you let that go , the sooner your mental health will be better. { This is the rinsing part of your healing. }
-Quit Ruminating!!!!!! Quit forcing yourself to relive the same pain over and over again. It just creates more anger, sadness, or anxiety. Whatever the emotion is tied to the PAST pain without any insight. While reflecting on a painful event can help you to reach an understanding or closure about it, ruminating simply increases your stress levels. { This is the hydrogen peroxide part of your healing. }
-Turn Failure into Accomplishment. If you allow yourself to feel helpless after a failure, or blame it on your lack of ability or bad luck, itâs likely to lower your self-esteem. Blaming a failure on specific factors within your control, such as planning and execution, is likely to be less damaging, but even better is focusing on ways you can improve and be better informed so you can succeed next time. { This is the Neosporin part of your healing. }
-Make Sure Guilt Remains a Positive Emotion. Guilt can be beneficial in that it can stop you from doing something that may harm another person (making it a strong ârelationship protectorâ), but too much obsession of guilt can prevent you from enjoying things in life. If you still feel guilty after apologizing for a wrongdoing, be sure you have expressed empathy toward them, which will likely lead to forgiveness. { This is the bandaid of your healing. }
-Use Self-Affirmations if You Have Self-Esteem Issues. While positive affirmations are excellent tools for emotional health, if they fall outside the boundaries of your beliefs, they may be ineffective. This may be the case for people with low self-esteem, for whom self-affirmations may be more useful. Self-affirmations, such as âI have a great work ethic,â can help to reinforce positive qualities you believe you have.Â
