Loremaster Power Hour

so i’ve been playing p101 today (only in valencia on my current pirate) and i guess i’ve forgotten about this huge aspect to the game in my last play through ~ the Polarian War?

this is what i understand about it from p101:

- the Walrus Tsars conquered “Old Polaris”, and the Polar Bears were their protectors (as we see in w101 and experience through the wizard).

- the wizard helped the penguins revolt against the Walrusks and the Polar Bears, and eventually succeeded with our help and took it back (but the pirate doesn’t know about the wizards role in this).

now, this is where it gets confusing to me: all of this is shared in p101, but we get no whif of it in w101. why? is p101 so far into the future? or is Polaris experiencing this war with the other Worlds without the wizards knowledge? if the two timelines are so close together (as the developers have said before), then what’s with this info???

- ...which then leads to the newly found “Frozen Polaris” (as they say in p101), who, under Nepoliguin, challenged all of the other civilizations (Worlds) which lead to “The Great Polarian War” with Polaris’ goal to conquer the spiral.

- civilizations (such as Valencia and Marlybone) ally together to fight Polaris, and succeed, leaving Polaris defeated.

* Very early in the game in pirate101, you find an aztecozaur temple with people who mention Morganthe by name, meaning that Azteca has already been destroyed (or at the very least under invasion) at the beginning of pirate101.

* The emperor of Mooshu being cursed by Malistaire is present in both games, and is implied that both the Wizard and Pirate are in the area at the same time. In Marleybone, the Pirate meets Meowiarity, who is alive in prison after the events in wizard101.

* There are no mentions of Napoleguin of the Polarian war anywhere in Wizard101′s polaris, because it supposedly takes place before any of the events in pirate.

The Jabberwock’s 2000 damage Meteor Strike has been replaced with a new spell that deals shadow damage instead. This is to prevent strategies involving fire shields or dispels.

You no longer get the +200% trap after he cheat casts. Instead, a +100% blade will be granted to the healer.

He now shares the mana burn cheat and doom and gloom cheat with Exalted Rattlebones (doom and gloom after heals and mana burn if you enter late)
