New addition to Orchard Verm / Geol'feld worldbuilding: the ever elusive unicorn. While I love the usual, delicate depiction that unicorns usually get, I wanted to try and design something that could put up a fight against most carnivores. These massive beasts rarely ever need to use magic, as usually just charging at their foes makes them reconsider the attack.

Waning Destiny Trio

Characters from top to bottom are: Clara, Valdemar and Dulcimaar(aka the Orchard Verm)

New illustration piece for the worldbuilding- I've been trying to experiment with more decorative artstyle this time. I think I dig it. Besides, I wanted to draw something with my favourite failed destined heroes trio together. <3 Hopefully I will eventually share more of the main trio's story, but for now it's sprinkled through previous worldbuilding posts.

"The dishonoured Knight wanders through the apocalyptic lands of Geol’feld with his Orthrus. As the night approaches, he makes a hasty decision to cross through an old, dusken orchard, only to come face to face with an old companion."

An experimental comic set in my worldbuilding setting, featuring some of my characters: Valdemar and Dulcimaar.. and an unnamed Orthrus. Working on it really helped me get a grasp on their personalities and relationship(namely Vald’s fear of the jester). I also got to practice illustrating in different lineart style for once, so it’s a win-win for me.

Some more Dogish, it mostly swims around in my sketchbooks.

I was so busy this October, but thankfully I had the time to make a new worldbuilding post! This time it's about werebeasts- to match my vampire spec evo post that I made earlier this year. After all, can't have vampires without werewolves, can we? 🐻(and werebears as well)🐻

October is going to be a busy month for me, but I wanted to share this WIP of my characters that appear in my worldbuilding project! Specifically, its a team of potential heroes.

Finally, the guy who has been in the plans since July: Sigurd!

The post would probably be up yesterday if i didn't ponder his name for hours. I chose him to represent info pages about dwarves since he is a comrade of one of the main characters, the Knight.

My take on Sirens, for my worldbuilding project. I really liked the sketch of a wild siren from the post I made about Clara and couldn't wait to make a proper entry about them! In the setting, they are much rarer than vampires, so they don't have as much information about them as my vampirism post.

I wanted to make them different from mermaids, so I leaned more into depicting them as half-birds.

Love your take on vampirism. If I may ask, what exactly is a blood pouch?

So, the blood pouch is that red thing on the vampire's torso. Basically, when the vampirism virus alters the body, it melds most of the organs that won't be needed anymore into a large, singular organ. Its primary function is to process ingested blood into energy and later on it can be used to boost hemomancy magic.

I wanted to tackle such classic monsters as vampires for a while now! This is my spin on them and how they appear in my horror/fantasy worldbuilding project and also wanted to tie in vampires + zombies together somehow. I think that the possibility of turning into a zombie just from being bitten by a vamp makes them much more terrifying foes.

 The idea of "blood armor" was something I played with back in 2023 for the Drawtober challenge and always wanted to come back to it, now that I'm getting better at humanoid anatomy.

I just wanted to give them a cool monster form to match their genre enemy- werewolves better.

Wiśnia, my vamp character, got a well deserved revamp too. ..a "re-vamp" hehe. 🦇
