I feel called to do spoken word today so I’m reading an old poem I wrote that I think oddly speaks to what’s currently going on in the Amazon: «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» After tumbles on the pavement, gritty sand in knees and blood the color of lit coal, with notes of humiliation and adrenaline, gravity is the maniacal antagonist. And it continues, this distrust for the force that grasps for our youth and wilts us deliberately toward Earth’s shifting soil.
