Bingo, you’re the sassiest little bird I have ever met in my whole life. You were super small but your soul was like a fierce diva, it was pretty scary at times. You’ve been my bestfriend for 6 years now. You were with me when I was starving myself to death and you were with me when I was trying to get myself out of the hell hole of my head. You put up with my constant rants and late nights of crying and hysterically screaming into my pillow. When I got really upset you would come sit on my shoulder while I read. Basically, you have been there for me always. You were never the dictionary definition of affectionate… but I knew when you flew on my head and started pulling at my hair in attempts to do whatever you birds do and when you vigoursly bit my nose and various body parties, it was all in love.
You were a spunky little dork that always found yourself in ridiculous situations but alas, too stubborn to let me help you at first… it was only until you knew you were truly stuck with your nail in the carpet that you let me help you. I don’t know if you were just born stubborn, or if I rubbed off on you because damn we both know I’m hella stubborn.
I remember the first time I brought Huey home, you didn’t play with me for a week because you were so upset that I brought another bird home. However you responded better when I brought Ariel, she was like your little diva buddy and you little buggers did your own thing and blatantly ignored Huey. Poor guy. You got so depressed after Ariel passed away, broke my heart. But now you’re buried beside her under the rose bushes and maybe your little birdie souls can just diva it around in whatever birdie after-life there is.
Bingo, you’re my bestfriend and I love you so much and I miss you so much already. I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything to get that nasty tumour off of you. I’m so sorry. I hope it isn’t too scary down there. I’m sorry. I love you so much baby.
